That’s exactly what I needed brother! Everything was explained extremely well! I’ve been watching Buell videos for weeks and just learned about the tapered axle shaft!
Dude that thing is like new. I need to break down my red firebolt and give it a bath. It's a really great little bike. I put the yellow short monoshock and short forks on mine that dropped it 2 inches. Now my 1125r feels super tall.
Great vid.. are you a Buell technician? Or you’ve just studied the workshop manual? I find it astonishing how much work is involved to change a rocket cover gasket. Thousands of dollars in labour to change a 10 dollar gasket 😳
I just have the manual and have been fixing stuff all my life. The Buells do require a lot of labor for some simple things. One reason I changed to the XR1200 was that it's much easier to work on.
excellent tutorial. ill be following this vid next weekend. are there any screws that shouldnt be used more than once, like the 3 iso bolts? thanks for the vid
I've never seen anything in the service manual about any of the fasteners being single use and have reused all of then multiple times. So far nothing has fell off. LOL
@@xpsgarage I know some bolts are a one-time use. I would imagine that these are not the case as rotating the engine is required for certain things, but who knows.... thanks for the response.

Glad it helped!

I got my right side scoop from St Paul Harley. It was less than 50 bucks I think. Also added an exhaust shroud.
For God's sake put a jardine on that thing. I picked one up on eBay for a couple hundred bucks and chopped it down a little.
Oi, this is next on my todo list

I know Harleys have the single use fasteners but I can't think of any on the Buell. My daughter is a Harley tech and rides a Buell so I will ask her.
