If a person ferries empty cylinders in a vehicle, there is no need to get special permission or have a driving licence with special endorsement as they cannot be considered prohibited or hazardous goods, the high court has said.24-Sept-2019

There are many reasons to do so which are as follows
      1. Filled are more dangerous than empty and in case of any problem like leaks, separate storage will help easy emergency handling.
      2. Empty cylinders fall very easily than filled one which is also a hazard.
      3. It prevents confusion while taking or selecting for use.
In nut shell separate storage of empty and filled help us easy and safe handling.
