So happy to see Anhydrous called out. We booked a massage, mezze, and wine tasting and it was spectacular. Can't recommend them enough. We walked from Fira!

We spent our honeymoon in Santorini last week, and both of us are wine lovers.
we visited Gavalas, Domaine Sigalas, Oeno P and Vassaltis wineries.
Gavalas was nice, the staff there were very friendly and the wine was nice also.
Domaine Sigalas had better wine, but they were fully booked so we just tasted a couple of wines at the bar before we decided which ones to buy as a gift to the owner of our hotel.
at Vassaltis we had wine tasting paired with food as lunch, and it was great - both the wine and the food.
the last one we went to was Oeno P, which was found by Paris Sigalas, the original owner of Domaine Sigalas. The lady the worked there, Maria, was very informative and friendly. the winery itself is very interesting and unique, since the wine is matured in huge clay containers.
if you stay at the northern part of the island, I highly recommend these four wineries.

This video had some good points but I think things have improved at the wine museum since it was published a year ago. We have travelled and experienced wine tours and tastings worldwide and the tasting room and the quality of all of the wines (including the reds) at the museum was excellent. Yes, we paid 33 euros for a bottle of red when we left, but we would put it on a par with equivalently priced reds in France, Portugal, Spain, Canada (yes, small production - not available outside of Canada - but excellent quality at that price level in British Columbia). The customer service was good and the staff had some good knowledge to share having also experienced wines in other countries and pointing out comparisons and contrasts.

Agree with all the points on Anhydrous. We really enjoyed it. I think it was 20 euro per person for tastings but it comes included with a tour, you can hang out there for awhile. Very relaxed fun vibe, glad we went.

Hope you'll do a series on Zakynthos, its an amazingly beautiful place, and its wine tasting is much cheaper and just as great if not better than Santorini. 😅😂👌

The bottle of Voudomato.. is a rose...its also made at Hatzikidakis winery and they make a sweet version there BTW, there are more than 20 wineries on the island and Boutari is definitely not the best. I think youll find it was at Hazidakis and the last owner who put santorini Assyrtyko on the map. Not Boutari. I think also you have missed the best winery on the island for Assyrtyko?

We went to Venetsanos Winery while on Santorini last month. Our tour guide took us. (One of my traveling companions booked a tour with him before I found you on RUclips😕) We tried four of their white wines. Nothing special for the two of us that tried them. Our other two companions can’t drink wine.

The food at Santo Wines is very tasty but also very pricey. So if you have the budget for it, sure you can eat there as well. Of not, just stick to the wines and maybe get just 1 or 2 fingerfood platters.

Me and my girlfriend are going to Santorini + doing some Island hopping aswell.
I must say your videos have been really informative as you keep them short, concise.
Plenty of other people make travel guides and videos about the isles to, how ever majority of them are very self obsessed with less info, longer videos and more focus on the creator
    doing activitys in the video.
Thanks for all the good info, looking forward to see the islands in a few days.

Hi Lincoln. If you put 2 or 3 hours between the tastings, you'll be fine. But if you do 2 times 4 wines in less than an hour, I'm pretty sure you'll be above the authorized 0.5grams of alcohol.

Santo Wines has a beautiful view, but that is it. Their Assyrtiko is just awful - it tastes to me like gasoline/petrol and not like a real assyrtiko. I will try the winery in Fira, as I've never tried it and the reds sound interesting too. Three of the best wineries weren't covered here, however - Sigalas, Vassaltis and Thalassitis Gaia. Hatzidakis is, of course, wonderful and I am happy his family has kept up Mr. Hatzidakis' quality
