Fantastic presentation! Great slides and info Jimmy. Do many of the wineries still use the short traditional bottles?
I tried a few Greek wines, I do like Assyrtiko but am not a fan of Retsina. I tried the one from Greece, which is a lot better than from our Greek family friend, vine-grown and wine-made here in Riverland, South Australia. I tasted the Greek Muscat from Samos with Bougatsa which was delicious.
Try AFROS Retsina by Kerchis- might change your mind😊
@@iBuster83 thanks. Will try to find it. Very limited Greek wines to find here in Australia.
Yessssss!!!! More episodes on Greece please.
Haha! Glad you're happy with these. We'll keep going :)
Great presentation!! Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! Cheers!
my Greek husband said Xino means bitter and mavro is black.
Indeed.
I have been waiting for this video a long time..FANTASTIC presentation!!! I have to say the pronunciation of the red varieties was kinda funny:)
Thank you so much!
He didn’t pronounce Assyrtiko correctly either. I was sitting here like how is he this bad at pronouncing these grapes 😂
