- Dan Goleman shares how Emotional Intelligence can help us live happier lives and contribute to a better world. This conversation with Dr Mark Williamson was recorded at an Action for Happiness event on 24 November 2020 www.actionforhappiness.org
I know now that there are like minded people who generally love life as I and respect everything that surrounds us. We are all caretakers of the surroundings we are placed upon. Dignity, respect and appreciation of those who share their lives with us. Do not feel intimidated by others or you will miss an opportunity to learn
Circle of influence act today with what you have. Remaining silence enforces non productive polarized views. Wonderful and uplifting
Almost 3 years later and this is great . Thanks for this content
Thank u for all the tips Mr. Goleman. This is what current day people call "King behavior". Keep it up King and don't drop your crown.
This is such a beautiful and inspiring video. Dan Goleman's voice is soothing to the soul, it is like tranquility being poured into my ears. The wisdom and insight he provides make it a "must listen" to all. Anyone can benefit and take something valuable from this conversation. Thank you Action For Happiness and Mark for providing this hour of calm. I feel revived and motivated to be a better person and spread kindness.
The person who is asking the question is really good, exactly the questions that were popping in the audience's mind and the psychologist answering them is also really great, such simple, brief and to the point explanations.
Thanks Mark Williamson and Dan Goleman for the webinar #EmotionalIntelligenceCanHelpUsLiveHappierLives @actionhappiness

FIRSTLY THANK YOU DAN THE BOOK WAS GREAT ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CAME TO SELF AWERENESS HOWEVER THE APPLICATION OR EVEN THE CONVERSATION ON THESE ISSUES PROVE DIFFICULT IN POVERTY STRIKCEN SOSIETIES...
We have much to overcome, gender roles and showing emotions. I find our aging population are in conflict with vulnerability and can’t name the emotions they are feeling and retreat into a fight or flight response. Empathic concern. Seen heard and cared about
When he said we should say certain things about people I actually cried
I am super grateful to
What a great event this was. Thank you.
Amazing!
This is praiseworthy content. A comparable book I read was likewise life-affirming. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
Amazing
muchas gracias por compartir esto, es muy importante difundir todo esto cada vez mas.
Awesome 👍
Some children are born with a natural resiliency to bounce back and quickly get up, while others are not.
Just discovered you, hopefully I can learn something.

Hi my name is John Alchin and I live in the Gold Coast Qld. I am in a Residential Aged Care Home and am wondering if Emotional Intelligence could help the staff here treat the residents better. I believe that this will make a difference in the lives of our elderly here in Australia and in the Western World.
I Strive to create awareness of SEL in Peru where I think it will be the ONlY solution for all the population that seems to have lost all moral standards and ethics 😢
Very effictive
Please could you let me know the url for resilience course and podcast. thanks
I am studying hR management and emotional intelligence is something I wanted to learn more about as I find it very interesting. My search led me here. Thank-you for your video, you are both soooo fabulous and inspirational.
Are there books that you recommend? Or other leads to learn more about emotional intelligence?
Where can I get the free resilience program that Dan was taking about?
it was something increíble, please try to do something like this again.
Calm.

Dr. if people intentionally create a destructive situations in your life, how can we manage it?
You learn how to state your needs and boundaries, clearly and calmly. You advocate for yourself.
If we do not have our own back, see that we are worth standing up for...no one else will honor that either.
Muchas gracias. Invitamos a los que quieran participar en reflexiones sobre el webinar en español a nuestro blog: maese.unizar.es/maese/blog/topic/webinar-con-daniel-goleman

All this is in bhagavadgeeta ..still more elaborated...sad is that now we are studying them with Western concepts
If it's helping other's to get in touch with themself, why not?
It’s western education system which connects lots of people .. but our culture is being talked about and it’s like they acknowledge the value of message aur culture gives …
I love listening to Dan, but he speaks too low
