Hopefully this useful or interesting for you! You can see the full tour of the apartment we ended up with here : ruclips.net/video/Npv0Lme4kls/видео.html We love it and we are so glad we took the time to work out what we wanted. What do you think?
Setting a realistic budget for your new home will help inform what you can afford and how much your all-in costs will be. The purchase price isn’t the whole picture. Carefully factor in other expenses to determine what you can afford. Great video! This is really helpful.
When my wife and I moved back to Sg from London nearly 3 years ago, we had a virtually identical list of criteria when we went apartment hunting. Didn’t take us long at all to find one that ticked all the boxes. Good call re location. No point in moving overseas if you’re not going to properly mix and mingle with locals.
Your requirements really reminded me of ours when we started our search for our new home when we returned from the UK… totally relatable. I’m a Singaporean btw, do feel free to buzz me should you need any help whilst staying here…
Hello! I love the video! I have seen in another video that you have a cat, did you have to look for specific pet friendly apartments? That did not make it to the must-have list, is this something you have to inform the landlord upfront? Did you face problems with condos for the cat? Thanks for the info!
We didn't ask about it when looking because we didn't know then that we would be fostering. Landlords are generally more relaxed here about pets, just be aware that any damage they cause will come out of the deposit! We just checked our tenancy agreement and there was nothing about pets so we went ahead!
Rob and Jenny, thank you for the tips! So insightful. Thank you! Would you happen to have a template of the adjustments that you made to your tenancy agreement?

Thanks a lot, will bear it in mind 😀
You can actually get 3 bedroom apartments for S$3,500. It will not be near town area but can be next to the MRT and well renovated.
Thanks for the info! Will keep a look out in the future. 😊

For 6000, you can get a really really good and big property with good location. On average 3000- 4000 you can get a decent apartment.
Great tip for those looking ☺️

them: budget 5k per month
most foreigners: search propertyguru for the cheapest price near mrt and shengshiong/ntuc
That budget is pretty high, must be quite easy to filter them out.
Thanks for the comment. Condos are quite expensive in Singapore so it was t as easy as we hoped. But not too bad! Happy with the result.
I was hoping for a home tour.
We have an empty apartment tour on our channel ☺️
I thought you had already moved to a new place
We have! This is just a video about the process 😊
Call me if you need an agent
