Budget tracking is really helpful! I recommend a budget spreadsheet with formulas for anyone wanting to start out and since I don't really spend cash, I just look through my statements at the end of the month. I continue doing it because I have some funds I track that roll over each month to save for bigger things
I use an app, it does basically the same: tracking your income and spendings. But it counts everything for you at the end of the month or even year. I don’t have to manually do it, so it helps. I’ve also been doing this for several years
