Beautiful work! I'm unfamiliar with pan pastels but they looked, to me, like eye shadow. I pulled out my vast collection, used your technique with the make up sponge, and it turned out beautiful. You've said pan pastels are expensive, so Dollar Store eye shadows could be a fun and economical alternative.

Oooh sally, that’s a fantastic idea and I’ve seen people doing this. Also, the range of colours will be much better.
I’m pretty sure the kids have an unwanted palette they were given at Christmas.
      I like budget!!

Thank you Sally, for sharing the tip with the eye shadow and reporting that the results were beautiful. So I´ll try that out, because I cannot afford to buy every new material that is used in the tutorials on youtube. My stash is burrying me anyway by now 🤣. Thanks a lot from Britta 🥰

Hi dear Kirsten, so nice to find a fresh and experimental video with you 🤩. And I must say, you achieved some very remarkable textures, where the colors overlap. For me the color palette seems a bit confusing though. My eyes seems to jump steadily between the background and the foreground. Makes me a bit breathless 🤣.
But: I am also excited to see, where these experiments are going to lead you 🤩, (while I stick to the good old acrylics for another while with great fun with the stencils à la Kirsten, that I made 😘) . Lots of love from Britta 🥳

Hi Britta, this may be an area I need to learn about. I know very little about how to manage the background and foreground, however I will be researching this.
As you know I’m trying to learn (although I am considering formal education, I’m worried it will take the enjoyment away).
You have touched on this briefly before and I had forgotten.
Google and RUclips will be tested tonight 😂🤣
Thank you dear Britta, this is the sort of info I need to progress. ❤️🥰❤️
