My favorite Scots sounds of the day - corduroy and trousers. I like the imagery and appreciate the layering. 🎉

Corduroy!!!! I’m so posh Clyde!!!!! 😂
I thought cord might confuse and once I said corduroy once I was hooked 😎
I like these. The cord you Roy gives a hint of an optical illusion.

@@quirkyqueens the pikuoh/peekewo effect was a good touch as well.

I learn so much from your videos! The way you patiently explain your process and steps is very helpful.

Aw Lydia, thank you!!!! I’ve been a bit blah with the gel plate recently as I’ve been trying other stuff, but I absolutely loved this wee session. I think the break has helped get a fresh perspective ❤️

Off-set bubble wrap is way cooler than I expected. ❤

Me too!!!!!!! I was like flowers? Wow!!! I did turn it sideways for the second press, I’m not sure if there is a difference in the layout vertically and horizontally. ❤️

Hi John, thank you!!!! That is brilliant to hear. I think the placement of the opaque and transparent paints was the biggest factor here.

Hi risha, so glad you liked it. I’ve had a lack of ideas recently so I took a bit of a break from gel plating, like a couple of weeks. I loved coming back and do this, it brought all the enthusiasm back!! 🥳

Love, love, love to see you back on the gel plate, dear Kirsten! I also love to see you go through other experiments - don´t get me wrong. I know they are necessary for you as an artist. But: For me you are definitely my gel-plate-queen 🥳 (except for perhaps art whisperer 88, you are the one who spoils us with the clearest explanations of HOW and WHY) And I´d like to see some of your prints on fabric for blouses etc. Especially the ones from the beginning of this video. I would love to wear them 🥰. Have you ever thought to offer them to a business that designs patterns? Anyway, you made my Sunday, dear. Lots of love from Britta🥰

You have to stick to what you like Britta. Also I’m trying to learn other art methods so I’m not as accomplished (or even competent).
I’m trying to broaden the channel niche slightly but gel plate is the main focus. Keeps me on my toes and enthusiastic.
Mr art whisperer is king and fully responsible for my gel plate life. He opened the door to the experimental approach. He’s also very supportive and kind.
I made an inspired by him video. He watched it and commented straight away. I was so touched and felt validated!!! 🥰🥳
I would wear my patterns too Britta!!!!! I need to consider this 🤔😎❤️

@@quirkyqueens Yes I read that he commented. He is such a validating colleague. Concerning pattern for clothing: Please do! and report your success. 🤩😘(and for super teaching: I am sorry I forgot to mention Elizabeth St. Hilaire, who has also inspired me way back in time) But you are definitely my favourite 😍.

Hi Kathleen, I bought mine in Poundland UK. I’ve added an Amazon link which looks like the exact product and is a set. I may buy the set as it’s a good range of marks.
      And thank you ❤️

Yeah, I was working fast on the final layer so I didn’t have to add another layer 🫣😂
Sometimes you’re in a stencil mood, sometimes stamping, sometimes painting…that’s why we love the gel plate!!! We can do it all 😂🤣😎🥳🥳🥳
