The amount of police radio chatter and the way they’re constantly communicating used to make it feel so immersive and authentic. Really added to the thrill!
If you listen carefully you can notice they are not just saying gibberish as well. Like "He is 10-34 Just hit a Semi I'm going in" And stuff like that so you can hear when they are calling for a roadblock or saying when you crash.
I don't know who was responsible for voice direction with this game but the police are absolutely STUNNING here. Just incredible work, and I'm glad this game is rightfully remembered for its police.

@@JamesLard32 I’ve only played the original. Even after I hit the spikes, I tried my hardest to get away. Never did. Once I had one blown tire and managed to get away. I was mind blown over my accomplishment. 😂
@@seadragonyt5391 that wasn't the original then. Likely the remake in 2012. The 2005 version if you pop all 4 tires your acceleration becomes disabled and you eventually stop and can't move

EA and Ghost needs too watch this so the next nfs is good cause MW and Carbon are the best.... and they both had M3 GTR in em with a great police AI [most of the time]

Heat level 5 isn't the highest heat level in this game. The heat levels can go all the way up to ten, but the game caps it at 5 (Possibly for the players sake [which is understandable]). You do face heat level 6 at one point in the game, and the Black Edition has a heat level 7 chase.
I loved these. Specially with my favourite Aston Martin DB9. Collected the most bounty points with that car. Got busted in every other car that I had, but not in Aston Martin.
I’m not sure why they didn’t have actual Crown Vics in Most Wanted if they have two Ford cars in that game, as well as Carbon. Imagine being able to purchase, drive, and customize one in Career mode.

cop chatter is probably one of the best things in the whole gaming history in this game. And also the soundtrack is awesome

The adaptive background music with the different situations in each cop chase reated the most intense atmosphere better than any racing game today

One would think they'd just lay a spike strip on all lanes.
You had to have some means of plowing through lol.
