I listened western genres extensively during the lockdown. None matches the aura of Hindustani Classical. Its always as if there's something missing in the vast other musical forms, the element that adds soul to the experience, which makes its presence felt in the Hindustani Classical music.

No doubt the rendering of this night Raag by Pandit Jasraj is quite unique and sublime bringing out the spiritual quality of Indian classical music which takes listeners to the higher realms of consciousness to be able to merge into OM. Very few artists have this capacity to reach the oneness with Divine thus making it true meditation.
