I would love to go back to Hota elementary school for a slumber party!!! Drinking good Chiba sake and eating snacks were definitely fun and unique experinece I would recommend visiting there with friends

That looks like fun! It's interesting to see how old places get renovated and reused especially when he place was made for something specific. A restaurant that serves school lunch as a theme is creative. That confession scene was already funny but the wife and child line caught me off guard lol. The snacks look tasty and I wish I could eat some. Also I think it's macaron since macaroon is a different food.

When I was a kid, school was the last place I wanted to spend the night in (I rushed out when the last bell rang). But now that I see this video, it doesn't look so bad to spend the night in school, only if I can spend time with the closest of my friends (:

Macaroons are coconut cookies dipped in a little chocolate, where as Macarons are the colorful ones with cream centers

Shiori's pajamas are SO CUTE.
Macaron and Macaroon are two different pastries and pronounced also differently. The latter is a dried shredded coconut sugar, egg white cookie (in some countries with condensed milk) and a macaron is the french pastry with almond powder, egg white and powdery sugar with a filling between two shells most people know. In my country Germany we say Macaron and Makronen for the other

Macaron and macaroon are variations on the same thing, an Italian cookie/biscuit made with ground almonds in the dough. In my mind, macaron is specifically the French sandwich cookie you had in this video, and macaroon is any other variety, but especially the UK/USA version, which is not a sandwich cookie and usually contains coconut.
No actually different pastries but using egg white and powder sugar, then other ingredients and a different technique plus baking process
I think everyone needs Shiori's energy in their lives 😂

until recently, it was "french macaroon" in english, but everyone started calling them just macaron because french makes it sound more fancy. and even when you said macaroni you were still right because macaron and macaroon both come from the italian word macaroni (athough it's not spelled like that in italian), and the cookies macaron/macaroons are originally italian and not french.

The only experience I had with an (abandoned) elementary school was as a shelter for volunteers when I worked there, and we had to sleep outside in tents. :P
