    I'll be getting the cheapest LE as my daily to replace my current one. It has the nicest and smoothest ride quality of the bunch due to the thick rubber. I had an SE and driven the XSE and both are much louder...prolly due to the rubber band tires and "sportier" suspension tuning. No thanks.....no point in making a car something it will never be.

      Very good point. These wheels also get stolen, more likely to be bent, scratched. No point

    • @sixten7920
      @sixten7920 4 месяца назад +2

      That was my thought on it too. The dealership nearest me is getting a couple of SEs in soon but no LEs. The fuel mileage is worse on SE over LE and it's only because of upgraded wheels. So the car cost more, gets worse fuel mileage, and will now cost more to replace the tires on.

    I own two Toyota Hybrids, both XLE (2012 Camry, 2024 Corolla) and the luxury trims are my preference over the sport trims. While sport mode is nice, and this Camry has nice styling for the sport and especially the executive sport, I find that the comfort of the XLE outweighs the fun of the XSE for me. It’s been more practical.
    This Camry makes me very disappointed I couldn’t wait for it to launch. We got the Corolla late last year to replace a car that was having issues that decreased safety, which is not okay for my family but the repairs were far too much. I don’t regret fixing that issue, and now we have two Toyotas (I don’t miss my Chevrolet at all, regardless of how sporty and fun it was to drive!) so there’s no room to complain. That being said: owning a 2012 Camry and 2024 Corolla, the only things I prefer about the Corolla is the newer hybrid system and the suite of driver assistance features. (Corolla XLE premium package can adapt speed and take corners on its own - not “self-driving,” but great driver assists!) For everything else, I like the 2012 Camry more despite its age and dated interior. 190,000 miles and still going strong!

      They just create a illusion that it is worth all the extra price and weight... in reality they made it more expensive and Camry buyer who wants to keep it 10, 15, 20 years will never get there due to all these electric complications and wit extra electronics . Camry buyer wants plain Jane lasting forever and this will not and it costs premium dollar .

    • @g60corrado91
      @g60corrado91 4 месяца назад

      @@kdomster9141 A current gen XLE AWD Highlander with the V6 that is no longer made weighs around 4375lbs; the Hybrid XLE is around 4515lbs. The 2025 Camry is absolutely not what the the Highlander use to weigh. In fact, even the very first generation Highlander was almost 3800lbs. The XSE AWD 2025 Camry Toyota says weighs 3538lbs, so nearly 1000lbs less than the Hybrid current generation Highlander.
      While the Camry for sure isn't cheap, nothing is cheap anymore. And to be honest, for what you get, the Camry offers quite a bit for your money. Don't want to spend all the money and still get most of the driving experience? MSRP with destination of the LE trim is $29495 with FWD or $31020 with AWD. That's more than $10k cheaper than the current average price of a new car sold in the USA. If anything, we should be thankful that the Camry exists at this price point with all the features, safety, physical buttons, etc. it has.
      Regarding electronics, even Camry's from the 2000's and 2010's had electronics. Toyota is arguably the most stout when it comes to their hybrid technology. Whether we like it or not, all the automakers are pushing technology into even the most pedestrian of cars today. Don't like it? Buy an old Camry. I still see early 2000's Prius's on the road by me and I'm in the snow/salt belt. If anything, unless you're undercoating your car, salt is going to rot out the car before the car is finished working.
      Now anything European and hybrid, that is another story.

    For those of you shopping a new Prius but you contort yourself to get in and out, this is your car. Toyota effectively took the bones from the last Camry and un-uglied it, inside and out. Sorry to see the V6 die, but with one available powertrain, Toyota is going to keep the price reasonable through streamlining the manufacturing process. AWD won't be expensive because the rear wheels are electric driven and there is no mechanical connection with the engine. All are hybrids and your new car payment won't be so bad when you are getting close to 50mpg.

    It's not about the height of the driver/passengers. Even if you're 6'5 you can still sit comfortably without hitting the roof. It'll only be a problem if you're over 6' tall with phatt ass. I'm 6'1 and my phatt housemate is 5'7 but we are equally level sitting side by side because he has a Lizzo standard of thickness. Don't blame the car if you're swallowing everything like a p!g.
    On a positive note,the new Camry encourages us to stay healthy and live longer without having to deal with health complications.
