@@bigb6046 Doug sure has his flaws but Lord knows I love him despite of it! Doug and Danny got along somewhat better in later seasons but there was always friction there.
Doug doesn't like him because Danny is ambitious, he's stupid but he's ambitious, Doug is low key jealous of Danny.

Earlier episodes: King of Queens. Overall I like ELR better. I think ELR is the one sitcom that does not really decline and is funny from episode 1 till the last. Some others I like, like KoQ, Home Improvement or Married with Children decline in my opinion over time.

The only thing that made me anxious in this episode was Danny stopping over at Doug's unannounced.....if Carrie was my wife, and I set up a weekend to be with her, I'm telling Danny I have something planned and he isn't coming in....damn.....
Doug's real wife is also in a few episodes, she is Carrie's nail girl who faked being pregnant so she wouldn't have to see Carrie anymore.
Arthur's real life wife is also Spences mum in the show...

There are too many new shows now that ppl are watching, so I don't know how many ppl would still actually tune in. This show was in a perfect era where there was no Netflix with like a million different shows competition..

Like the unspoken, unrequited affection Spence had for Carrie....made me cringe when they shone more light on it.
i think they did 8 or 9 seasons. plus they were on top but their storylines were lacking a bit at the end. i think it ended at the right time.
