Not only that, but for 15% for 150k, that's valuing a company at 1 million dollars. IDK why most people think that's some crazy low amount...a company with barely any sales or business being done usually isn't worth close to a million dollars.
The second lady, when she Mentioned Abiola and finally gave a briefing about her father, I recognised immediately. MKO Abiola's (of the blessed memory) daughter. She's such a super star! I wish her the very best! ❤
Personally, I think the first pitch is one of the worst. Despite already being in the Den before, she was far too emotional, wasn't willing to budge, fumbled her pitch, and alienated the Dragons by singling out Debbie

Problem was complaining about a few percentages in equity, when Debra would sell a huge amount also with contacts in international/local would make up for the higher percentage in equity held

Fun fact: In the two seasons that Jenny appeared, she actually made more deals (12 deals) compared to 4 other previous dragons that appeared for two seasons only, Nick Jenkins (8 deals), Sarah Willingham (5 deals), Kelly Hoppen (5 deals), Piers Linney (4 deals)
The meme is less about her not making deals and more that she wouldn't even make offers (in my opinion).
She had 5 offers accepted, not 12 👍... She didn't have many rejected.... That's because she didn't make many offers, usually out unless her chances to get the deal was high.
I think the dragons generally make offers with no actual intention to go through with the deal. Jenny on the other hand has the intention to go through with almost every deal she makes. That’s probably why it seems like she makes less offers.

I would have chosen Hilary for the graduate search business. It's a business about humans more than about technology. Hilary is by far more emphatic than Peter. She would have been the better fit in my opinion.

P.s. I'm glad she teamed with Peter - he's my favorite Dragon. He's the most dynamic, savvy like all the dragons but there's something very likable about him. And easy on the eyes 🤭

I've watched two episodes where Jenny makes an offer, then removes her offer after the entrepreneur starts to negotiate with another dragon. She seems to get triggered by them not starting with her first and then bows out. Whereas the other dragons who have also offered deals usually remain quiet and don't get offended if the entrepreneurs negotiate with other dragons first.
I don't blame the dragons for getting annoyed with the first entrepreneur, she clearly wanted to own 100% yet have investment.
Was she not correct her margin was 35%?. The margin is the difference between the price at which a product is sold and the costs associated with making or selling the product (or cost of goods sold), which is what she said!

Always like watching the magnamole one with Sharon Wright. Bet she regrets her decision, Deborah or Theo would have been far the best options.
Anyone else notice the first lady kept saying that she couldn't 'give away' %15. She was not giving she was getting the value of a Dragon. And then gave it up because of %2,1/2. Silly girl.

What was the matter with the first woman she asked Debbie to drop to 15% , so she did , but she decided to continue haggling about it. Got what she deserved . Nothing . Unless I missed something.

Magnamole I believe eventually a success, unfortunately NOT with the help of the dragons who according to a later video treated the lady terrible neither coming through with the cash or in fact made contact with her for a long time resulting in effecting her mental health. This information was in a video released by others so not my claim

The first lady wasn't willing to sell 15% to a Dragon, but had already sold 15% to the guy stood next to her? She'd have still been the majority shareholder with 70% and have two business partners she could buy out at a future date. Seems she was more attached to the emotional journey than the goal of the business.
"When something CAN'T be done: someone has to do it first." No, thats for difficult things. Things that can't be done no one can do first, just because it literally can't be done. This wasn't something that can't be done just something (that's maybe difficult) that was not done before.
The 2nd pitch, she is ready to go public with a web based product but brings in 2 boards presumably showing a screen shot. Go figure.

all dragons ganged against the 1st pitcher... logic says in business opportunity seldom strikes twice grab it before it vanishes. Dragons were just playing to the gallery w/o business acumen. the entrepreneur was way smarter than the dragons, she really did not need anyone. she did her melodrama got publicity and walked away with a massive massive goodwill and publicity.

The first pitch / self pitying pitchee....absolutely nauseating performance.
I prefer 15 minute episodes spread out over 4 days rather than these 1 hour episodes. Lunch is only 30 minutes anyway!
Then only watch 15 min. of it, and come back later. But I would definitely prefer having a one-hour episode, then having to go look for another video every 15 minutes. On the other hand, all you have to do is go back into your library and watch the rest of it when you have time.
You know each pitch they’re recording takes 1 or 2 hours , it’s only on tv for 10 or 15 minutes
For the wire thing, who wants to go inside the house first, push the rod through, and then walk around to the outside of the house to finish up? Keep in mind, the distance from the inside to the outside, is usually not just going around a wall. Wouldn't it just be better to have a fully straight, plastic rod you attach to the wire to, and you can push the rod & wire directly from the outside of the building?? Just a straight rod that you attach it to? That way you wouldn't have to start inside the building, then walk around the outside.
I do not think this is a great product, and I'd be more interested in hearing what cable man think about it, then the dragons. Cable men know that walking from the inside to the outside is not always quick, and you shouldn't have to.
