Soju is Korea's alcohol of choice, but there are so many kinds out there. So today we're doing a taste test of 16 sojus to pick THE BEST SOJU IN KOREA! Featuring MYCHONNY!

Good video. Hope you get lots of hits from people trying to choose a soju brand.
Like Shane's K-Pop Videos said, it would be nice to also have a list ranking all of them from best to worst.
Also, since you probably still have all the bottles around, I hope you'll do the taste test again but in a different order to see if you get the same result (with plenty of palate cleansing this time).

I never realised how strong Chonny's accent is, though this may be because I'm Australian and it's hard to recognise our own accents unless compared to other english speaking accents.
I'm from Brisbane and our accents aren't as strong like people from Sydney and Melbourne haha

좋은데이 from Busan goes very well with seafood, its is smoother not to overtake the taste of 회(korean sashimi). Sojus from Seoul and other regions are strong flavored to wash off the "oily" taste of 삽겹살, which is broadly consumed in these cities.

I have a question - what do you think about FLAVORED soju? there's a korean restaurant called the Hoban and not only they serve regular soju, they served flavored soju. Here's a list:
Chamisul, Chuem Chureum, Lemon Soju, Peach Soju, Grape Soju, Strawberry Soju, Apple Soju, Bok Bun Ja Berry Soju, Pomegranate Soju, Pineapple Soju, Kiwi Soju, Mae-sil Soju, Cherry Soju, Mixed Fruit Soju, Bananna Soju, Yah Ho Kool Soju, Original Yogurt Soju, Pineapple Yogurt Soju, Peach Yogurt Soju, Strawberry Yogurt Soju

Depeds on the country I guess. I live in Mexico City and I can get it from corean stores (wich we have because of the corean comunity that lives here).

XD I've seen the first one Simon eliminated and the PSY one. Maybe another brand also, but I'm not sure. Definetly not al 16 they show here.
They have soju in the US, but depending on what state you live in, it may be hard to find. I live in Southern California, which has a large Korean population, and there are Korean supermarkets and restaurants where you can buy/order soju. I've never tried it before, but I'll have to try the winner. :3
