- Raul's online family from Raul's forum donated a few dollars to master guitar maker and fellow forum user Johnny Claflin to create a beautiful Rickenbacker guitar. Forum friends from around the world arrived in Texas to watch Raul's surprise as he opened it. Raul was deeply touched and quickly ran on stage and performed the entire sound check using it.

You all are welcome, I haven't had anything worth posting in a while and wanted all my friends on the forum and others to be able to see the amazing time we had. I have an excellent HD copy of the ACL show from Saturday night but with that i'm going to put it in my library. :) The friendships i've made through knowing Raul's music is something I really cherish.

David Johnson, the song at 47:55 is titled La Mucura. There's a video with it and another song: "Never on Sunday/La Mucura."
I just discovered this recording and absolutely love it!!!! Haven’t gotten to the end but curious if anyone knows if Raul played that guitar on that night’s performance.
