My squad was tasked with killing two bile titans and the first one killed me, my squad threw my reinforcment beacon right in the path of where it was walking and I shit you not, my drop pod came down right on top of its abdomen and blew straight through it, one shotting it and giving me the ultimate taste of badass vengeance. Love this game so bloody much.
I did the same thing but fucking decapitated it it was amazing
I did the same once, but with the drop pod of the flamethrower xD.
this exact same thing happened to me. one person was dead, the titan was basically right on top of me, i threw the beacon at my feet (after fumbling the sequence twice) said a quick prayer and the reinforcement pod killed the titan.
you know how people say sequels nowadays are bad, well, Arrowhead spits in their faces and gave us this banger. it's not just an upgrade to the original, but it brings back that feelin' of playing for the first time. i also have horrible vision, so seeing the actual scale of the enemies is awesome.
There are plenty of games where the second title sees all the play and easily overshadows the first one. Mostly movie sequels are bad.
I find accidentally throwing your friends into really bad spawns happens allot and it is funny

Its funny that after a few tries at harder difficulty, you acclimatize and wanted more challenge so you up the difficulty again and the cycle repeats till you reached the highest.
This game truly is amazing. The coordination needed to pull off these higher level missions is just perfect. You can still mess around and kill each other, but to get all the objectives done in the 40ish minutes of time, requires some serious teamwork. Well done on pulling this off in your early twenties, you guys did well.

@@savonmcleod7265 I agree with everything you said, I'm worried about the size of content, like I don't wanna get bored a week or 2 later and hang it up.
@@lordraynation6178 they have an internal roadmap they will share with us soon and they said they are planning for big updates regularly with vehicles/mechs being one of the first.
All future dlc will also be free with only the warbond season passes being the paid content.
Wish we could have bigger squads. Hopefully, they will add them so all the bois can play at once.

My question before I buy, is it good for solo player's cuz that'll be a deal breaker if you don't have friends to play with casually.
i would recomend i played solo for like 3 hours then met some random dudes and now we have like 12 ppl to play at all times
There is no help for solo players at the moment however if you pace yourself it is a very fun and challenging game to play solo I have completed every difficulty with and without squads so long as you understand the mechanics it can be done 🤓
It can still be fun playing solo or with a random squad, but it is much harder on your own, and it really is designed to be played with other people helping you out and watching your back. I'm also typically a solo player, but I've been jumping into games with random people and having a great time. Like for example we were tasked with killing some of those giant bile titan bugs, and one of them killed me. One of my squad mates threw my reinforcement beacon right underneath the giant bastard and my drop pod came crashing down right on top of it and one shotted it by cutting straight through it's abdomen. Such a fun badass moment and all done with random people I don't even know.
Play with randoms. It's incredibly fun and I'm so far very suprised by how few people play like dumbarses.
Good to know fellows I might have to check it out, a little burnt out on warframe grinding.

you could always use matchmaking (if it works, they're getting it more stable everyday it feels like) and play with randoms. Had some crazy matches with random people, that game is super fun!
While I agree that Helldivers 2 is (IMO) best played with friends I've had good times with Quickplay as well. As the matching continues to improve I'm sure that will get better too.
4/5 times the randos are cool people who will cosplay the crap out of the game yelling "DEMOCRACY!!" as they spray the enemies with machinegun fire. So don't be afraid to try quick play with randoms
It's honestly playing with randoms is laughably fun, swan diving off a random cliff just to find out the rest of the squad doing the exact same thing.
I'd play this game, if I had any friends. Well, I do have friends, but none that really play games online anymore. I loved the first one, but I can't stand games like this with randoms. A big part of the fun in these sorts of challenging games (you know, everything like high diff w/ friendly fire L4D on up) for me is always the teamwork of a good squad with comms. Looks damn good, though.
I still have fun even with Randos. Thing is you don't get better at this game by being mindless or competitive. You get to the higher difficulties by engaging with the challenges of the game, which has to include communication in some form, especially when it comes to mortars, objectives, bile titans, ammo supply. The people who suck to play with, in my experience, get filtered out because it's not the power fantasy they hoped for, as in being this bad ass who doesn't die easily and can take on armies of baddies naked. The enemies will humble that out of you since your character is squishy enough to make you have to consider other options. Maybe I should be more aware of whats around me. I walked in front of their gun, thats my fault. Crouching and proning is helpful for aim, it will make me more efficient with my shots, rather than running and gunning like in COD. This guy is REALLY good at dealing with chargers, I should make sure he has enough ammo to keep doing it and pick up what he's doing. That mortar killed me, they should have communicated that so that I could focus on keeping away. Reloading this takes forever, I'll either need to choose when I reload more carefully, especially for when you need to deal with chargers and bile titans by yourself (you'll find pockets of spaces, like under the titan or after the charger hits a wall where you're safe) or have someone keep cooperatively reload me. I'm too slow in this fight. I need to better manage my stamina. The objectives are very involved, not just press A to do this theres steps that must be done, I need to find ways at becoming more efficient with each objective.
The people who prefer playing alone are stubborn enough to either find success with it or get beaten down enough to learn that they are an ODST and not Master Chief. Learning the importance of patience, knowing not to engage the enemy if you can manage to outmaneuver them. Honing their ability to prepare and their on their fly creativity. And through all that work to manage the higher difficulties, it makes them all the better in the group as they can be trusted to handle objectives by themselves whenever they come around to joining a group.
Essentially this game forces you to become more dependable and makes you stick out as an outlier of the community if you're not. I haven't had this much fun in a co-op game since Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer.

I'm just too old and grumpy to suffer through the morass of asshatery until I find people who can put up with my grumpy old ass.
Stalkers are menace imo. Cyborgs overall suck ass. Jumping bugs suck ass. Teamates that throw eagle on you behind Your back suck ass. I died 6x more from other players than enemies.
I love every bit of it. I wanna see how, when and if they gonna implement illuminents.

BTW there is VERY weak spot under Biles. It's a green blob that pops out sometime and i think it's their hart.

this game is only good with friends or people you know. my experience solo'ing and finding randoms is horrible
I don't know if it's just me but I fail to see the fun part from this video 😂 other than having friends to shout at big creatures and the awesome graphics I have no idea what was happening. Maybe there is something I'm missing, like a post/pre-game section that gives it some depth?
The gameplay basically is a panic survival if your playing high level. Or extermination if your playing low level. The fun is in which you prefer. The game has mechanics that force you to watch ammo, resupply, limited large ordinance to kill big enemies, plan your route to clear small nests first before extracting to make extract easier.

Idk.for me this game never clicked with me. How slow you are as a character comparing the enemy and the stamine bar.
The facat that i have to inpue a bloody mortal combat fatality every time i want to use an ability and then thorw it only for it to some times randomly bounced of enemies and others get stuck on an enemy running towardes and kill me......

Wen to check the game out and discovered it's got some nasty DRM attached. Also an 'always online' game, nope that's not for me. Looks fun but I miss the days of LAN co-op and friends using networking to play together. These companies have become lazy and greedy while my expectations remain the same.
the DRM isn't great, but this game is far from the result of greedy devs. it's a multiplayer game, and the vast majority of people who can play together do not live together or near each other, so it is an online game. but everything in the game is possible to be earned playing solo, and it's very easy to match up with randoms or friends. there hasn't been a game in this genre of this quality for years.
@@ghosthero0806Quality doesn't mean much to me when the server is down and I'm stuck at the main menu. The original Borderlands and even older games had the ability to play with friends over the internet. You have to see the bigger picture over the last 40 years, to see how greedy and lazy the industry has become.
@@thisguy3500 borderlands is an RPG. i'm not an idiot, and most people aren't. we all see how bad the games industry has gotten. my point is that this game is not an example of that. This game is an active war simulator with thousands of battles being simulated constantly on a dozen different planets. it is always online because the only way to simulate something like that is by tracking every mission that every player does. think planetside 2 except not pvp.
the servers were down very briefly because the game is much more popular than the devs anticipated, and so they immediately hired more staff to help fix the issues. there are still some issues with matchmaking but it's very easy to find games. this is not a single player game. you can play on your own, but you are always contributing towards a community goal when playing. if your issue with the game is being unable to play online, then that is your issue. but it is a necessity for a game that runs in real time like this. feel free to play a different game, but this is not a bad game made by greedy lazy devs, this is a masterpiece in an age of samey multiplayer slop.
