I’m loving this season of golden bachelorette because both Joan and the men are great. But now I’m upset that Jenn’s men were so bad!! Like how can the franchise choose so well for one person but so poorly for another??
I think the main reason why Jenn's season was so bad is because they didn't switch out the men. Most of the men auditioned with Maria or Daisy in mind - Cauasian women. Jenn has different features, a different history especially her tendency for picking assholes. The production absolutely did not help her in any way, I think that is why they announced the next bachelor so fast so they get women who genuinely want to date him
I feel like you both are being tricked by the editing when it comes to Mark. Production wants him to be Golden Bachelor so bad and they keep pushing him so hard, but I'm pretty sure Joan just sees him as a friend or at least not a serious romantic connection. But I could be misreading the situation myself lol.
