Can tell us how to keep power bait soft? That would really help, cuz we dont always use power bait all the time.
oh man all sold out!
I love the way you break it down. You are actually teaching how to fish. Thank you.
Hey Jordan. My name is Preston. I'm 64 years old and developed a rare form of arthritis that has made fishing very hard for me. I used to have a 18 in and out boat set up with a fish finder, trolling motor and down riggers, so finding fish was easy. I got discouraged with the pain of getting in and out of the boat and getting stiff from sitting in the boat for hours. I unfortunately sold my boat and gave up the sport. For years I sat in my recliner and kind of gave up on the outdoors. I have found myself depressed and discouraged. Watching your totorials and a couple others on RUclips got me fired up again. 2 months ago I dug out my gear and have been bank fish. I'm finding it hard because I can't move from place to place. I use crouches and moving all my gear to find a different hole is just to hard. I find a good looking hole whether it lake or river and fish it all day. I'm having a difficult time getting into fish. Do you have any suggestions for me. I'm on social security disability so money is difficult and motorized mobility isn't an option for me. I love just getting outdoors again, but catching some fish would be a nice bonus. Any help and suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I want to thank you and all your coworkers for the inspiration you've given me to get out of my chair and get outdoors. Blessings to all of you for your work and bringing videos to help fisherman all over. GREAT WORK GUYS! Looking forward to hearing from you. Preston
@david , Thanks David. It's just fun being out in nature again. A fish is only a bonus on top of all the wonderful things being outdoors brings. The fresh air, interesting sights, wildlife. It's a great! A loose line is great, a tight line would just be greater. Thanks David. Preston
God bless you Preston, I hope you are doing good!
Right on Preston 🤙
I have bought Newberg Bi-Mart out of these floats twice this month. Just finally tried them, awesome for the shallow coastal rivers.
Just got mine in today from you guys. Can’t wait to try it out here in NorCal. Great video.
Jordan and Melvin make the Best videos... Keep up the Good Work...
I get my floats tomorrow!!!
Been waiting for these bad boys for awhile. Gonna order tomorrow. Might grab sum jigs as well.
Was trying to figure it out on my own and I couldn’t get it. Thank you so much for this video. Very helpful.

Waiting on mine from Mustad. Can’t wait to use them.
OKUMA has quite a selection... that X SERIES.. IS SPENDY but well made.. may make me purchase one.. I HAVE NOT SEEN THIS FLOAT SYSTEM BY ADDICTED/MUSTAD in my local shops.. your explanation of removing weights from the float, while using 1/8 oz. jigs had helped me.. thank you.
Fellas, thanks for all your inspirational videos
Just made my first fixed float setup and can’t wait to use it
I was at Costco today and bought the "Addicted winter chrome kit" / Mustad. Haven't fished steel head since the 60's. The kit has a lot of strange hooks and bobbers you shown on this video. Thanks for all the tips and getting me out of my chair. Very much looking forward to starting fishing 1st of year. Thanks (Oregon's rivers are the best)
bro this video did the trick good info and simple how to i love it. the camera person did amazing job showing what you were talking about. Good job bro!
Great video. I just got mine I can’t wait to use em this week. Jordan you make the best videos
I haven't been able to find these floats anywhere. I live in Sacramento and not at Fisherman's warehouse, Sportsman's warehouse, or anywhere, but your web site now shows them in stock so I ordered a couple. cant wait to get them.
These floats look soooo good
Works great for trout...Gonna try it to float a wacky worm rig over weeds for Bass
Definetly wanna try those floats
Got my floats today 🎉🎊👏🏻🤘🏻🎣
Love your videos Bro!!! Keep your line Tight!!!
Just got my floats. Gonna go catch me some blue back tomorrow ;)
Yep! I’m done with the bobber knots (garbage)
Fixed floats👍🏻
Thank you greatly keep the videos coming
Love your videos...thank you!!! I am learning so much!
Killer video boys
would you be able to fish eggs on a circle hook too with this setup?
Can you do a video about the FG knot and compare it to the knots you guys use?
Any tips for fishing deeper holes with a float? I feel I'll miss the middle of the hole, 15-20 ft deep, where I hook the most fish drift fishing. Is the answer drift the deep stuff and bobber the tail out section? Thanks!
Getting availability for apartments in the Tacoma area. Can not wait to move and be near steelhead water again.
awesome video thanks guys
Thanks you so much for the information! I love all of your videos! Do you have any videos on what fishing line to use when. Lbs, braided color with mono for trout? Bass?.. and why you use what you use? Thanks!!
Very helpful you guys should go to Australia and fish for GT
Brandon Larson Yes please!!
great video,i was wondering where can i get the container to store the float,Than!
Is a 9ft or 9’9 work best for a best all around salmon/steelhead drift/float/spinner setup? Also 6-12 or 8-17 like the okuma guide select pro?
You guy definitely entertain me while I get inspired through education ! Keep up the great work and stay healthy so you can keep them vids coming !!
Damn, look at those biceps in the thumbnail 💪🏻 must be from landing those big steelhead
Any centerpin tips for river/creek fishing?
You can also use the crappie magnet the same way
Hey Jordan! Huge fan! Is one able to use those mustad floats with a centerpin setup? When I steelhead and fish for inland trout centerpin fishing is what I primarily do.
Love the vids! a little different tactics than Southern Ontario but Ill be trying to bring some of these tactics here for trout opener in April. Turkey and trout opener on the same day...Life is Good. It will be my first year running a bait caster float fishing. Can I find your floats in canada anywhere?
Stupid question. I am on the East Coast.
Will this setup work on Great Lakes tributaries ?
Thanks
Ive bass fished baitcasters for a long time, would a baitcaster or spinning reel be best for steelhead float fishing?
Those floats look great but i just use the twist floats, you fish them at any depth, they are simple to use and you can add or subtract water for weight.
If I'm not using braided line, what's the best solution? Swivel from main line to leader and attach the float to the leader?
what is the length and weight of the addicted floats?
Do you add weights to a fixed float setup?
I need help! I use a thill slip bobber but I've had issues lately with the line not running thru the top of the bobber once it hits the water even with a small weight to pull down the bait. I use 17 pound test line. Is it because the top of the bobber not open enough?
I question the value of weight on my bobber giving a less accurate read of the orientation of the rig underneath eg dragging behind bobber position .
Hi dudes, greetings from Denmark. I think it's a dope vid and dope setup you got going there. It doesen't always have to be complicated to be effective.
Fishing rivers this way is a very overlooked method of fishing here. I'd really like to purchase that float and maybe some jigs and wigglers.
Havent been able to find the Addicted balsa fixed float system anywhere here unfortunately, neither any webshops which ships it to Denmark.
If ya'll know of somethink or some good links, help me out boys. :)
Edumacation :D yay!
Great video..one question though, with a fluoro bumper if you get snagged, the line breaks at the knot and you lose the float..would it be a good idea to add a lighter leader to the bumper with a swivel?
What I was wondering as well...
Could these work with floating beads ? Or would you prefer a different bobber?
I add weights below the bobber in addition to Brass Loops on Balsa for Beads and it floats like a charm
Does anyone have recommendations for how to save your float if you happen to snag up with this setup? I usually break off at the double uni.
I just bought one of these so I’m not an authority, but I’m thinking you could just drop down a size or two flourocarbon for the last couple feet of your leader system, as long as the float was above the knot joining that last section.
Got a kit wit two float at Costco
I checked everywhere it is all sold out everyday I come their sold out I told them when will it be restocked they said in 1 week so I waited 1 week I went and boom a person got the last addicted float I was bummed out
What’s the advantage of fishing a fixed float over sliding with a stopper?
can you please link ur whole setup in the description?
Midwest trip come to my place and fish Michigan
That can what I'm waiting for. With KVD or a local guide.
Do they come in 8g and 11g?
Jordan’s waders need Nikwax.
🤙🏽🤙🏽
Do they steelhead worms work for salmon?
Yes & we have micro worms on the website
Where did you buy that real
1st
Be careful how fast you slide the bobber up and down in the line so you don't create heat and curl the line?
So I'm curious when you put that 10 foot bumper 10 to 12 foot bumper does that not create drag and you're not going to be able to men that with the rest of your line?
tlpoutdoorsman I typically run 4-5 feet. If I need 10-12 I’ll switch to sliding setup. - Marlin

How about a mustad bag dump ? My bag weighs 25# do I have to much shit ?
Absolute E-FISH-N-SEA never to much
I was wondering the same thing. But you never know what will work.
What about fishing eggs?
how is this any different than a slip bobber?
"The holes in case you hook a fish and dont loose your float" I would trade my float for a nice fish any day haha.
Yeah most of us would, but now you don’t have to. You can hook a fish and not even give it a second thought!
Just woke up 2am
My Dad took me trolling we caught streel head cancer took him
roger funk Sorry for your loss.
@@AddictedFishing thank you
