I saw them in concert, and at one point my girlfriend and I had worked our way up to about the fourth row from the front of the stage. And we were positioned right in front of Gary when he totally went off on a guitar solo like this, I think it was in the song :Golden Country", which is another great one if you haven't reacted to it yet, and wow. It's something I'll never forget.
@AceTheHeart Part of it is that I have so much passion for all this music, including even certain kinds of new music, although normally not mainstream pop and mainstream hip-hop, but I can clearly remember my journey of discovery with all of this since I was so young, and of course it never stops, but I see some of that same joy and amazement of discovery and confusion and gradually developing more context and making connections - that's exactly the way it was for me when I first encountered it. I know things happen differently at these different ages of being that young at the time for me versus being your age (which is still so young to me, laugh), but still it's so similar! It's cool how you're exploring these things. 😎
157 riverside Ave is a must hear for you, you will absolutely love it. The "Decade of Rock and Roll" live recording is the best. Their music rocked until the made coin with "Hi Infidelity" and went bubblegum. RIP Gary.😇
The best live version of this song.. IMHO .. Great Choice !!!!.
Saw them back in the early 90s and man what a show! Always liked this band!
Now that was a live performance, no overdubbing.
This is a real treat..
Gary Richrath was one of the best guitarists ever! Can't go wrong with 1982 and before REO. Before the power ballad craze.

The amazing Gary Richrath (RIP, Gary) is just starting his solo, and I'm digging your reaction here, Ace. ❤
This album was played at almost every party when I was in high school in the 70s.
Love your reaction, including the comments at the end, as always, brother. Rock on. 🤘🤘🤘❤️
I appreciate that Steve.😁😁
