You mention needing to replace the pivot washers occasionally. I called Spyderco and they say they won't send parts and I should send the knife to them. Not gonna happen. Where do you get extra washers?
@@CanadianGearAddict another useful site... if you email these folks and tell them what knife you are working on, and send pics, they will get you fixed up with a complete maintenence kit for each knife or you can go piece by piece. Very helpful folks. usaknifemaker.com/shop-categories/folding-knife-parts/washers-and-bushings.html
What's your rationale for not removing the liners and cleaning off all the crap that we both know is living there too. I mean yo had it apart, so why not do it right?
Personally I couldn't even take off one of the steel liner from the lanyard tube, tried for 1h, prying with plastic things etc, it just wouldn't come past a certain point... That is on a Persistence which seems like just a smaller Tenacious.
what are the dimensions of the screws?.. its t8 and t6 but how long were they? so we can search for replacement parts..
OK but you did not have the camera so that the viewer could watch what you were doing as you did it. Your arm/hand was in the way. :
I can not get any of the screws that are in those "studs" out
