When used with iPhone through lightning, does iPhone detect it as only input? In other words, is it possible to stream whatever is incoming with iPhone to social media directly without use of obs and computer?
If I do a video on my phone and use the AI-Mic to connect a Rode-Go to record my sound - will I get the video file with the sound track as one file. Reason I ask is I don't want have to sync up the files in post.
Great info. It cleared my doubts on how to use with mobile phone recording. I have doubt? does the audio quality change if i use this AI micro interface instead of a 3.5mm to usb-c adapter for my android phone? Does the audio quality also change when i used it with the PC 3.5mm input than directly inputting my rode video micro into PC and recording via OBS?
Great video! I would like to know if possible to listen video through headphones out during the playback of recorded video. Because originally when mic connected to lightning, iphone does not let you listen, you have to disconnect mic from lightning port.
I am drummer who uses a electronic drum kit, I have an adaptor to turn the output of the drums into the rode mic input. I'm guessing that is similar to how the DJ equipment output would work? So I assume the drum kit would also work. Also great video, deserves more views!
Hello! This also works for shotgun microphones? Can you compare this with Zoom F1, F2 and F3? Zoom also has a mobile microphone for Android and iPhone for the USB-C.
to get audio into an iPad 3.5mm port, can i use the monitor out or does it draw power from the usb cables? (live streaming, the lightning port is busy)
I want to know this too. My main planned use is for Instagram so I can avoid microphones, especially the phone microphone. If I can just send a stereo feed from my mixer to input 1, hopefully there won't be any level issues?
Does anyone noticed any difference between A. Rode AI-Micro + your mic VS B. Apple lightning TRRS adaptor + your same mic? Thank you so much.

Great review mate, cheers!

sounds like the answer would be specific to your phone's software and whether it captures external audio while videotaping.

did you find an answer?
@@DR19X yes. Rode ai micro is better than stock, mobile or PC.
Can i use two microphones?
Great video!

Can I record phone calls?
Thank you for your video 🦋
Awesome review, well laid out, no filling. Your gain was too high, it was sometimes clipping like at 3:57 when you say: Your Library.

Can I use this to join a livestream using rode ntg mic and connected a headphone to the 3.5mm jack to be able to hear the livestream? Thank you
Hey thanks for this ! Do you know if we can record a video directly in the camera app on IPhone using an external mic , with this?

super helpful; Ta : )
Is it possible to leave the reporter in monitor mode and just monitor all the sound coming into your ears?
No. Moreover, the in monitor mode is only mono. It is strange because the in playback mode goes stereo.
@@ply6921 do you know if the settings from the rode's app get saved and stay in use while using other apps?
No, wait a moment - you say this comes with two labs ! - really?
