Congrats to everyone that has ever made it to becoming and a paramedic. Many people do not understand our work they only see us getting through traffic runing with lights sometimes sirens to this was a great video thankyou for posting this is a great volunteer or career field to be in the rewards are not always in dinners or money donations but your rewards are in heaven waiting for God to reveal them to you. But many times you just have to feel happy that you made a difference in someones life even if it was a sad cal you were still there to bring peace amd respect to the patient and their family we can do many Great things as EMTs and paramedics but sometimes the calls you go on you can't save everyone in those times it's God saying you done your job let me take them home and you stay here and keep saving others and keep praying for the needs and comfort of those who need your care. On every call take God with you. Thankyou EMTs and paramedics foy your service and dedication to your communities where ever you are be safe stay safe God has your back.

I'm in total awe right now! You are so organized, articulate, compassionate and smart. I searched for a video about how women can prepare to become EMTs and I'm so happy yours was suggested! Another thing... I just started going to Church in April and ever since then, my signs from God have been abundant. I love the way talked about how your faith helps you as an EMT and being an EMT helps your faith. Anyway, thank you for posting this. You are truly an inspiration!

I am doing my nremt and I failed but I kept my head held high went again and failed and I had a mental breakdown today. But I really love it so I’m going again I already ordered the book. I live in the state of Tennessee and our course is January to May so basically a semester and aemt is also a semester and paramedic is fall spring and Summer. I love watching you ! Thank you !

I will start the classes next week. The first I got my book,I felt discouraged because it is huge. I said how I could not read that between 6 months. The reason I still watch video to see what people said about the classes. Your video is encouraging .thanks

@@deborahalbanez3003 it was interesting dispatch messed up our unit number 4 times and so we had first due and 3 other trucks going to the same call, but we took that one. Then the transmission went out on our rig so we had to switch trucks and in the middle of that a lady calls 911 5 times to say she is on the way to the station with her child who we thought was in respiratory arrest HE WAS NOT thankfully and so i got on the truck and went to go look at what we had but after i was told to run through the station to our broken unit and grab the PEDS bag and oxygen so that is how my first ride along went.

I’m in school for my EMT-B now. I’m halfway through.
currently in classes to get my NREMT and we use that same course textbook lol. My course is at a local college and 4 months long. Definitely need to get better note taking skills for this
What are your plans on after your journey in EMT ?
If your goals do not at least include the intermediate cert., you should just work at McDonald's. I received my emt-p cert at 24 and now currently an Anesthesiology resident. Do this for a stepping stone, not a career. You can teach 14/yo's to be a basic. Also, you do not need a diploma to attend.
Average pay per hour is 16 for a paramedic. 1 semester for basic, 1 semester for intermediate and 2 semesters for paramedics.

I had a DUI that got reduced to a P.I. through a plea bargain; I also have a charge for Resisting Law Enforcement by Vehicle, it was a felony charge that got reduced to a misdemeanor through a plea bargain.

I’m singing up to be an EMT and they require clinicals of course and said there’s no set hours but require 10 patient contacts in your ride alongs. What does that mean exactly? Sorry if that’s a silly question.
Hello! Essentially what it means is that when you do a ride along sometimes you can be really slow and sometimes you can be really busy. having 10 patient contacts just means that you’re required to help 10 patients or have at least 10 jobs while you are riding.

I really love the video, but wanted to share a fun fact. This year's EMT class(if you go through the clas), is NOT required to pass a state practical(at least in my state). They shut the testing centers down so we have a NREMT and the local community college I am taking the class through pass-fails us on the lab side. So no state practical because of corona. Isn't that crazy?

Here’s one of the big problems with EMS today
We need career oriented providers. Not people hanging out for two years then go to PA school. No offense- but it takes a loooonggg time to be adequate at the EMS job. There is a revolving door currently of providers who are brand new and/or a year or two of experience- which is nothing.
This exposes more issues. The pay and other benefits suck. Thus people leaving for nursing or PA. EMS needs to make the profession a comfy living and right now in most areas it’s not.
Most people don’t want to even do EMS as a profession because of the pay. Most EMTS where i’m from have to work multiple jobs and still barely make it. It’s a amazing stepping stool for PrePA and PreMed there’s no issue with it because people cycle in EMS systems regardless

So Americans can volunteer to work on an ambulance and just rock up to a college, do a 6 month course and then be an EMT? That's unbelievable!
How’s it in your country ?
@@sandrastella In Australia you have to be a paramedic to work on emergency ambulances. Somebody at EMT level can't legally work on an ambulance. Paramedics do a 3-year university degree in Paramedicine, then apply for a position, where they are an intern for 12 months. Then they become Registered Paramedics. Many graduates have a double degree with nursing. We do have volunteers, but only in remote locations where the workload of a job a week just doesn't justify having a professional crew. They're generally assisted by a community Registered Nurse.

If Jesus is God then why he said in gospel of mark chapter 13 verse 32 "and for the day or the hour, nobody knows when it will come. Not even the son nor the angels but only the father". Now if Jesus is God then why he said that he doesn't know the hour? God is all knowing. So Jesus should have known this if he was God. And it is clearly mentioned in book of acts chapter 2 verse 22 "ye men of Israel listen to this. Jesus of Nazareth a man approved of God amongst to you by wonders and miracles and signs which God did by him and you are witness to it". Read carefully "Jesus of Nazareth a man approved of God" not God approved of man but a man approved of God amongst to you by wonders and miracles and signs which God did by him and you are witness to it. Jesus says in gospel of john chapter 17 verse 3 "and this life eternal that you know the only true God and Jesus christ whom you have sent". Now if Jesus is God then why he said that God sent him? Please answer these
