In the event You've not made the bag with a liner I completed the process utilizing interface and attaching the outer and inner side panels to the zipper as outlined in a zippered bag tutorial, but without sewing the perimeter after the side panels are attached to the zipper I joined the oblong pieces together as in your tutorial and then sewed a liner to the wrong or inside portion. I then returned to your tutorial and used your method of pining and sewing the bag together along with the strap. You did a great job with your tutorial and look forward to other sewing projects of yours.

Looks pretty good and you recycled. That’s great! Your lining looked good. Why didn’t you use it? You wouldn’t have seen the fraying, then. If you’re not sure check out some more videos. You really just place your bag inside the lining and sew around the top. I think you add the zipper next. You need to leave a small seam open on the bottom of the lining, to pull it to the outside and then sew that seam closed. Check out the Villamor Twins, they have a very cute simple way, that really looks good. Be proud, though. You did good. 👍
you should place your pins vertically not horizontally! It won't get in the way of sewing and the fabric will be held together better! Great video anyway!

You would line up the lining and denim outer of the bag when sewing in the zip 🥰🥰
