And the main reason I'm so excited is that I sold my beloved X100F a couple of years ago in order to buy the X100V, but then left it too long and then couldn't get one. I was one of the first 5 pre-orders at Henry's in Canada and i was told today not to expect delivery until April. Looks like Canada might be seeing some delays!
Honestly, the Kaizen update was the best part of this summit. Now I don't need to wait for newer cameras for REALA ACE. So glad that even X-S20 will get it (which is what I might finally get). Thanks for the hard work Patrick.
First, I love your channel. Thank you for all you do for the photographic community. You always have pertinent, factual and timely information regarding all things Fuji. I always look here first if I'm looking for the most recent information. So in that vain, I know you know about the shortages of the x100vi intermediately following the launch. I preordered from from one of the biggies here in the States shortly after the the camera went live on their site. Only to find out that my order was placed on the backordered list. I perordered only at one place and I only ordered one camera. Checking reddit I found that thousands of hopefuls were in the same sinking boat as me. What puzzles me is how resellers on ebay were able to purchase as many as 10 units at one time? Of course the mark up on those is anywhere from $650 to as high as $2000. But I digress, I'm happy to wait because I will not be part of the FOMO got to have it now crowd! Which leads me to my question. Do you have any knowledge of how Fujifilm is going to handle this shortage? Will they be ramping up. the supposed 15k units a month to supply the demand for this camera? Do you have any knowledge of when the next shipment from Fujifilm will hit the retailers? I can't seem to get an answer from the biggie retailer I preordered from on launch day. Maybe one of your Fuji contacts has the straight scoop on delivery.

Ok, X100VI released. Now we're waiting for X-Pro 4
I suspect that all the localized Amazon EU preorder slots have been allocated. I managed to snug a black unit through Amazon IT with release date 3rd April and stated delivery 9th April. Tho from the same page I got it it now says “currently not available”. Guess that I either got extremely lucky or I’ll receive an email from Amazon saying “hehehehe get jebaited” 😅

It's always so much fun reading biased praise/hate comments of people who have never even seen the camera, let alone use it. There's even accurate battery life statements, probably from someone who has never touched a single camera from the X100 series. Amazing
