You speak clearly, refreshing in an age where everyone seems to be rushing and mumbling!

Thanks Filipino FM, love your videos, I'm pretty new to football manager, i have been doing my research on RUclips there is so much to cover. I have always overlooked the data hub but thanks to your video i am much better equipped. I got one big problem and i know its not related to this video but i have to ask because I'm desperate, lol, i have watched a few videos on formations, but i cannot find a video or information on the tactic i am using, its the 4-4-1-1? I'm not asking you to do a video on it , but could you even just off the top of your head think of 6 or 7 things i might want to consider when lining up in this formation? Especially the role of the central attacking midfielder? Be so grateful if you can help, im not very good at this game, but love playing it, thank you

@jimmysmith07 This would probably be mostly dependent on the personnel of your team. I've used the 4-4-1-1 in previous editions of Football Manager, and it's a pretty versatile formation (essentially just a slightly more conservative 4-2-3-1). From an attacking standpoint, I would just make sure you have midfield runners getting into the box. It could be a box-to-box midfielder or central midfielder (on attack duty), but it will be important to have midfield runners getting into scoring positions.
As for the AMC role, this is a very versatile role and you could plug in any number of roles that would be successful. I would say that the role is probably more dependent on who you have in the position and what they're strengths/weaknesses are. If you have a playmaker (good passing, vision, off the ball) I would go with something more like an advanced playmaker. If you have an athletic phenom (good dribbling, pace, acceleration), I might lean more towards an attacking midfielder on attack. If you have a good goalscorer (finishing, composure, off the ball), I would go with a shadow striker. But definitely here, I would focus on maximizing whatever good qualities the player in that role will have to get the most out of the position.
That's what I've got off the top of my head. I hope it helps!
