Im going for a world record for a Arrma Granite mega / brushless conversion before I turn it into a monster senton then to a drag rig then to a big rock lol. On a Mamba X, If you have smart sense turned on, top speed will be unaffected by sensor use. The way it works, it only uses the sensor to start, after around 10% rpm, it switches to sensorless automatically.
Yes that's right, given the sensor portion is vastly more efficient at low rpm, I wanted to challenge if it would be any temperature differences after a run. Being a crash happened after, well, null 😅
Awesome run, man, nice, clean, straight like an arrow. Good job, man! Really interested to see how a taller gearing and better batteries will affect the top speed, I bet the car will do at least 140 mph. Keep it like that!

so if you have 2 4s batteries in series like that then your only running the full voltage of both batteries through one half of one connector right? all others are only seeing about 14.8? wouldnt it be more of a concern if you were just running 1 8s battery with a jumper in the other connector?
Great run very well done. I run IC5 connectors and power hobby lipos no problem but I keep getting a sputtering sound in the beginning of my speed run then it goes away. I believe I need more capacitor capsules I currently have four external soldered on may need a total of 8. What you think?
Appreciate it. I think you are fine, the sputtering is cogging from the motor load trying to overcome its static friction from a stop with a high geared setup

You should use the qs8 connectors for any 8s
Did you have to shave a little off the 1717 mounting plate? I can’t get the motor mount to slide in the bracket.
Take the left side skirt out. That's what's blocking the motor from sliding in. It's the bolt to the side skirt support. Once in, bolt back in
