Actually the crumbly bits could be the kathira gums and buah kembang semangkuk which have been soaked overnight. The “small2 ball” things u mentioned are not kathira, they are basil seeds or biji selasih which I also prefer 😁 However some sellers omit biji selasih some omit the jelly-like crumbly bits.
As a Chinese, I’ve always looked forward to the bazaar every year. Even prefer it over pasarmalam instead 😂 hope our friends wouldn’t mind non-Muslims patronizing the bazaar, always wary if they’d wonder why are we here etc
Malaysian Chinese too, they always be the one to 'open' the stall, at 3 pm already start shopping. I think everywhere everyone anticipated for Bazar Ramadhan because it's happen only once a a year. And as a Muslim, we don't mind. The more the merrier, help to boost economy too

The KG bazaar is not the same like before, where we had the traditions nasi briyani, rojak bandung, ramli burger. This one different organisation bringing in hipster stalls. So get ready to have money ready.

i don't think there is anything wrong with saying OMG! it is not a curse word like eff you! even if you said a curse word unintentionally, just apologise, repent and try not to repeat the same mistake again!
