I have this same issue on my old tv Sony I bought back 2011 it has been a great tv for me been thinking to finally get something new but even new tvs have issues
Yeah, definitely want to share these types of concerns with the community. That's a nice decision to have man, regarding the g2 and qn900b being wall mounted. Hope you're enjoying Geo!
Hello from Oregon, now that is a TV! woo that's going to be clean for the Finals and the NFL this season. Do you have a dedicated 4K player for movies? I now have the Panasonic UB820 w/ Dolby Vision and Atmos it's amazing, also with Hybrid Log Gamma is key for movies. I like your saying" NO TV IS PERFECT" Your absolutely right! I have the LG C1 '65 OLED W/ the LG 9.1.5 Soundbar. Thank you for the review.
Thanks for swinging by Joel. 👍🏽 Yeah it has been awesome catching the NBA playoffs. The only 4k blu-ray players I own currently are PS5 and Series X. Glad you are enjoying your dedicated blu ray player man. That's a solid LG setup 💪🏾👌🏽
I Agree 💯 with everything in this video. I have two Samsung 85inch QN900B in living room and bedroom. I would also added that the mini led grid is slightly noticeable on the tv when the color blue is displayed which is annoying. I have keep both tvs offline and on the Day 1 Firmware of 1084 and so this tv is ridiculous bright. Gaming 8K on RTX 4090 is simply jaw dropping on this tv...Hopefully the Samsung 8K 98inch qn900c isn't to much as I would sell both my tvs to get it
@@TheRokaphella Thank you, Just a side note. W/ your TV check out the Panasonic UB9000 it has the HDR Optimizer for 4K movies. Top player @ $1000. However, I collect movies so that's why I mention it. I need to remember not everyone does LOL. Take care...
hi @rokaphella, Have the same 8k TV - QN800C, Do you encountered some lines when viewing Blue and white colors like the sky and clouds? its like you can see the Mini LED behind the panel that creates the lines.
Those are things that wouldn't affect me. I don't use my current tv's remote. I use my tivo remote to turn on my tv. I don't use tv speakers since I have everything going to my av reciever then out to tv. I never use my tv's apps because I use roku for apps. Since I plan on upgrading my current tv (vizio 80 inch 1080p) to a 85 inch samsung, I'm glad that those problems won't affect me. I don't even know where my current tv's remote is at, Probably put away in a drawer somewhere.
Hey man, nice video! I would like to know what is that under your tv that you use to pass the cables. It looks like a gutter with rounded edges. I like the way it hides the wires without taking up too much space, I'm looking for something similar.
Hey Rick, thanks! I can't remember if it was a cheaper alternative to the Sanus on-wall cable concealer. But you can find the Sanus version on Bestbuy.com for 30ish bucks. 👌🏽
you have to go looking for blooming most times with the qn900b 85 inch. with update 1602 it has MUCH more contrast in the image. blooming in dark room is there, but VERY minimal. Oled is still superior in the blooming department, but this miniled 8k tv is CLOSE.
@@TheRokaphella Yeah 8k60 is fine but I'm beginning to think 4k120 (on pc at least) is impossible on this tv after about a year of trying to get it to work on nvidia control panel
That is not good. My TV doesn't show such a pattern, but the 8k content I have seen on my tv is fantastic. I do not know much about the qn700b and its capabilities and limits.
@aphella i saw a photo on techradar review where it shows the dithering on qn900c. Also in the showroom i saw it dithering. My unit dithers if i try to watch on 8k input, but doesn't if i put 4k input. The only way i can have the TV output at 8k and not dithering is game mode and vrr enabled, which introduces other set of problems.
Thank you for the quick response. To confirm you said it gives heat to the front and the sides. Or just the sides, I ask because my front screen gives heat.

I picked up a 75" QN900B from Best Buy in October when they went on clearance for $750!
Congrats! Make sure to check for DES. I hope you enjoy your setup!👍🏽
Wow
$750?? Seriously?

Last week I ordered the 2023 85" model (QN900C). To be honest, I expect some level of perfection when it arrives later in December 🙂
Congrats! Hope you enjoy your new tv! Firmware 1602 is awesome! Don't forget to check for DSE (DIRTY SCREEN EFFECT) and please subscribe👍🏽💪
Hey man, nice video.
It was nice you shared your problems.
I have the G2 and qn900b both at 65, and I still haven't decided which to mount on the wall

Recently pulled the trigger on a 85" qn90c with a q990c soundbar very happy so far
why not use a av receiver with surround sound?

Just picked up a 75QN900B on EBay for $2800 right before Football season. Will update if I see any of the issues you mentioned here. Thank you
Congrats on your purchase!! I am still enjoying mine, almost a full year later.
I was going to wait to the end of year and get a 2023, but couldn’t pass up the price.

Have you tried connecting to a pc over hdmi? When I try to switch over to 4k120 it just refuses to display anything saying hdmi not connected

you've never mentioned the awful dithering pattern when tv is in 8k. I can see it over 1m away from my 55" qn700b

What about new QN900C ?
Haven't reviewed it. But from other content available, it "looks" to be a solid tv offering from Samsung.

Can you hide the one connect box behind the tv like you can the frame? Or will it affect usability?
I have seen this done, but I like having my one connect box below so I can easily connect other sources to the tv
Does your tv get hot, I feel like my 75 inch gets hot on the front.
Yes the tv does give off heat on the front side, but the back is cool to the touch

Where did you buy the tv stand?
bought the tv stand on wayfair. it is called the Wonarah Tv stand
