If you get to go, it doesn't matter why or how. Nick Foles was a backup QB for the Eagles for the whole year and into the playoffs. The main QB got hurt and Nick was given the job. He took them all the way, won the Super Bowl and the MVP. Don't worry or think about it, just take the opportunity and run with it! PS, I have some "friends" who could pay a "visit" to that person in third, just sayin'

Yeah.....the part in the film clip where you said that you wasn't enjoying yourself due to your performance I found sad. I have great days and some real sh*t days at the range but I always enjoy my archery. One of the reasons that I don't compete is because I don't want to be better or worse than anyone else...I just want to try and be better than I was yesterday and so I just shoot and do the odd fun shoot now and then. I have brief moments of sheer brilliance surrounded by moments of mediocrity. The glove thing.......I am finding trying to find a good glove a PIA. I can't get on with tabs and some of the gloves I have tried tend to grab the string after a couple on months even after trying talc and other stuff on them. The best I have found to date are thin leather German military gloves but even those I end up using beeswax on the right hand glove. The American leathers glove looks ok but they are bulky and hell are they expensive, I won't be paying that sort of money just to try them out! Anyhow....keep up the videos and shoot for you and keep your archery fun....when you start beating yourself up, you are not in the place you should be.

Which would of made you happier, shooting and doing good but not making the team or staying home and thinking I should of went and wonder how you have done. You did what a lot couldn't or wouldn't so chin up and be happy for yourself. My feathered cap is off to you.

Foam is your friend. Fives are better then zeros and looking for lost arrows. You will keep after it and make it another time.
