Ankles under armpits is a great criterion for judging perfect stance width!! Many players may feel their balance is bad when, in reality, their width is cockeyed from swing to swing. A few repetitions of this great 👍 instruction will ingrain an ideal feel. By the way, you have the most beautiful swing of any instructor I've seen!! Obviously, that great move stems partly from a vast knowledge of the golf swing. GREAT VIDEOS!!

Great instruction. I randomly stumbled across this right when I have been thinking about that issue. Heading to the course now.

I’ve heard so many different schools of thought on this. I just bought a driving utility iron, (can’t hit woods very well, so that’s what I use instead) had a lot of trouble hitting it, until I narrowed my stance, and then I was able to hit it pure 🤷‍♂️. Did it really by accident, I was just trying to make contact with a very short backswing, my feet were closer together, weird, and btw, I would have taken all of these shots off the tee on the golf course, 200-208 for yardage , which isn’t much , but straight and in play

I'll take straight shots all day if it means you're on the fairway! Your narrow stance could be preventing you from swaying off the ball. Whatever it is, keep it up.

Pretty sure you’re spot on with the swaying. Bc I was swinging easy, trying to get a nice square, sweet spot club face on the ball. Wasn’t trying to hit it hard. Very relaxed and not tense. 🤷‍♂️

Great tips, I like what you bring to the table. Curious though. What if you are someone that uses single length (7i length) clubs? Is it the same stance for all? Thank you for your insights!

Pretty much yes, I use SL and I stand the same, narrower the shorter the shot though so If you are doing a half swing with the pitching wedge for example, but for full swings the same

      Apologies for the late response!
      Online lessons are $99: www.perform.golf/swing-analysis
or you can join my community (www.perform.golf/offers/kJvgN7jN/checkout) for $19 and post your swing for review there. The lessons are a lot more in depth, but I thought I would give you the options.

Not based on the width of the pelvis?
