I finally pick up courage to try. I open white box, remove the layer of plastic sheet, pour the seasoning sauce & stir 300times till smooth. It was not as bad as I imagine. I smell, I tasted it then added more soya sauce & mix in 1 final spin. I then was finding something spicy so I squeezed a bit of mexican gourmet chilli sauce give it a stir then saw a bottle of crispy pork floss. It was yummy. It was too little. Will try something else. Am thinking of natto omelette egg roll with green onion. This pack of 3 boxes is Hokkaido Natto (Soon Brand).
Yes, it will be damaged over 120 c degree. While deep frying isn't the best for the health benefit, you can still enjoy natto in the soup and cooking lightly. I hope it helps!
Natto may be healthy but I am apprehensive about the styrofoam packaging that is commonly used which is carcinogenic. Are there any brands that come in safer containers?
Hi. Thank you for your comment. Here in Japan there are alternative packaging such as paper containers. I have seen online that some stores in America (New York) sale natto in glass containers but the price was quite expensive.

Does the natto fermented culture get damaged by heating at higher temperatures?

❤can i poot nato in blender with kakaoo, honey sweet potaito, vanila, banana ,like a pooding, is it still hellsiy???❤❤❤❤❤
If you want to enjoy the full health benefits of natto, avoid heating it. Instead, making a smoothie in a blender is a great idea!
🤤🤤🤤
❤the oven dont kill the goodnes???❤❤
If you want to keep its goodness, I suggest cooking it at a low temperature like below 100°C!
Can I buy Natto in Thailand?
There is a Japanese grocery store called Fuji in Bangkok and you can buy it there!
@@chefjacooks Thanks you /Can Natto be used to cook food that has been heated?🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵😍😍
I put tamarind sauce on it.
What is a good brand of Natto?
Okame Natto (Takano foods) or kin no tsubu (mitsukan) are popular brands in Japan.
I buy organic non-GMO natto. That's more important than the brand and there are only one or two such brands of organic non-GMO natto.
Cooking natto is bad for the probiotics, isn't it?
Fortunately, heating natto doesn't kill the natto-kin (probiotics), so you can cook it and still get the benefit!
I heard that natto is disgusting the first time eating it and it takes a while to get used to
That's true for many people. Natto is not for everybody, but it is worth trying!
