Incredible stuff, and a fantastic video. Delivered at a nice pace too to keep it engaging and interesting. Flight sim aircraft have long been sterile environments, so with these add-ons and A2A's imminent arrival on the scene we are going to be rather spoilt with a growing, enthusiast-level GA fleet for MSFS! The innovation levels continue; I look forward to future videos and releases! :)
I am a big fan of the aircraft done by BS, they can't imagine how happy I m to fly aircrafts with this depth of modelization ! really enjoy facing true behaviors like the CDIs or fuel & electrical system ! they are very instructive in many aspect, not just cosmetic add-on !
The Dreamfleet A36 Bonanza with Peter McLeland's turbo mod was probably my favourite aeroplane back in the days of FS2004! This will bring back memories!
Then you've never flown an A2A aircraft in FS9, 10, or P3D. Their V-tail Bonanza for P3D and FSX was a game changer, as was their Comanche before that. Their Comanche is now in beta testing and it will blow the doors off of this, and blow your socks off with the systems fidelity. A2A aircraft are "alive" and it will set the new Platinum Standard for GA aircraft in MSFS.
A+ achievement. Both the instructor and the finished product itself. This is now on my list of must haves. I could watch that cylinder temp part about 10 more times.
Instant purchase as soon as its available. Same for the Baron. I'm not sure even RXP or A2A (yet) are up to the quality of some of these systems like the EDM.
You guys are killing it with the steam gauge updates of Asobo's default aircraft. I absolutely love the Caravan and am still working on figuring out the King Air. Guess a steam gauge Bonanza will be in my hangar soon (along with a Baron and a TBM - wink, wink). Ooooo, that turbocharger. YES PLEASE!!!!!
A fantastic product. Thank you Black Square and Justflight. SOOOOOOO much to learn, but I was amazed to discover the Bonanza is such a wonderfully solid and docile aircraft, especially in the pattern and landing (as long as you respect its limitations, and your own). But again, so many nuances to study. Try John Eckalbar’s book for an incredible deep dive on the Bonanza.
I was on the fence about what I thought was just an analog upgrade some some slight changes to the aerodynamic modeling, but holy crap. This addon is basically it's own stand-alone study-level version of the default. 100% going to buy upgrades that go this in depth. Fantastic work!
Thanks Kenny, will pass your words to the dev. That's the message we've been attempting to convey since the release. These releases are way way more than just a basic, simple upgrade. Glad you're enjoying anyway. Thank you.
Looks like this is a insta buy for me, specially the Baron. I just wish the Velocity XL would get some love and added some of these realistic features. Make it analog with gtn750. It flies great now, good sounds, but lacks the avionics features other BS product have. Keep up the good work guys
So that will be an instant purchase so much is already certain! The feature with the signal degradation I like particularly well. Will that also be available for the King Air and the C208?
Brilliant addon aircraft! Outstanding attention to detail. I'm loving it! Congrats to Black Square. Is there any forum or discord server we can talk about and share things about your addons?
Hi Mauricio. There's no discord channel. Your best bet would be either the Just Flight forums or probably where there is more action, the official FS forums. There is a dedicated thread/section about this release, as there is for most new releases. Good luck and great to see you're enjoying the Bonanza.
Can't wait to fly this aircraft - looking great. When going through the leaning process (refers to video time 10:44) you mentioned that first you begin by pulling the mixture back until we see a rough peak EGT on the bar graph. Can you please elaborate further on which bar graph is showing the rough peak EGT - followed by going back half way? I am not sure where this is represented int he video? Many thanks for your help. Julian
I hope the signal degradation feature becomes commonplace among GA aircraft. It adds so much, even though it's such a small thing. Makes me very happy for the future!
That will depend who the developer is. Remember the dev who produced this is highly skilled and adding that kind of thing takes a lot of time, talent and effort. in Black Square titles it might become a constant but don't assume it'll be common place anytime soon.
Could you explain how to do a badic coupled ILS approach please ? What is tge GPS/APPR button for ? Even if the Appr button is pressed in the AP and it shows as Armed and then captured, the plane does not always fly the approach when intercepting in Headng mode. You have introduced this button on all your planes but have never explained them... anywhere. Maybe a tutorial would be a good idea ?
Any chance we could removed the kn81 if we are using the GTN or GNS option ? Kind of odd to have an old RNAV system in the cockpit if you’ve been retrofitted the cockpit with more modern navigators.
Yes. It's not as simple as selecting an option, but it's a relatively simple mod to make for the XML files. We'll aim to get something published for it.
Very impressive work on both the plane and the video. Not sure I have the intelligence to fly it though. I'll probably get it but not sure I'll ever fly it much. The older I get the more I realize how dumb I am.
Great plane, I love flying it. How do I edit the config file to get the turbo version with tip tanks? I cant find any literature anywhere on the web. Thanks
I am wrong or is the flight dynamics aspect a lower priority here over systems modeling ? This looks super interesting to me and would feel like learning to operate a real aircraft, but how much love was given to the flight model of the aircraft ?
This started out as a default aircraft so the developer is restricted in terms of changes to the flight model because a/ it's an asobo aircraft flight model and b/ the sim is pretty limited in some respects. Some changes have been made and it's pretty good now but it's not going to do it for each and every simmer out there due mainly to the reasons pointed out above. But you're close or at study level with the aircraft now, that's pretty evident.
Just got this addon, and it came with permanent 3D Thermal Lines, I cant figure out how to turn them off. Tried mapping a button, flicking the toggle, nothing
yes seems like you can disable tips tanks very easly, looking in the manual ,there is just a number to change in a .flt, keep in mind, the A36 without turbo charger is available without tip tank, a version with tip tank (aspirated thought, and the one in the video) "Should a user have a strong desire for a turbonormalized Analog Bonanza without tip tanks, it is possible to create a mod, which will add this aircraft to your simulator. It has simply been omitted here to reduce clutter in the aircraft selection menu, and help differentiate the Analog Bonanza from the default G36 Bonanza. To do so, simply create a new aircraft livery mod with the adjusted weight and balance information contained within this manual, and new flight files (*.flt), containing the following lines. [LocalVars.0] BKSQ_Turbocharged=1 BKSQ_TipTanks=0 "
What year A36 are you simulating ? Looks like something post 1985 up until the early 2000s. Is the turbo simulation of a turbo a36tc out of the factory or a aftermarket STC mod like from world wind or something like that? Also, can we have a non turbo version with the radar pod on the wing or can we disable the WX radar in the VC?
This particular model of Bonanza depicts the stretched and improved “A36” model of the mid-2000’s with a 300 hp engine, and the 2001 “A36TC” with an aftermarket turbonormalizing conversation package. And you can create any combination of exterior features you like, but you cannot disable the weather radar, since it doubles as the failure interface. It's technically possible with an easy mod if you REALLY wanted to, though.
I didn't get the King Air because I already have this type in Xplane.... But the Bonanza/ Baron will be a must for me! I just don't like these planes with G1000's. I see the systems are great but what about flight model? I didn't catch comments on that if any
Just started using MSFS 2020 and this so I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but the install manual has this: "NOTE: THE FOLLOWING DOWNLOADS ARE OPTIONAL, and not required to enjoy the base functionality of this Black Square aircraft; however, they are highly recommended for the most immersive experience possible. Installing the PMS GTN 750" The 530/430 are "Working Title GNS 530/430" units though. Not sure if PMS does the 530/430, but that's the information I know of.
I'm a little confused. You said that you don't lean the engine when you're at 12,500 ft (below critical alt), but then you went through the process to lean the engine at 12,000 ft and said that you're now saving fuel. This seems like a conflicting instruction. Could you please clarify under which circumstances the mixture should be leaned?
You don't NEED to lean the mixture while climbing like a naturally aspirated aircraft, but leaning lean of peak once in cruise can still save fuel. The manual does a great job of explaining these things in an understandable way. Hope that helps a little.
Fs traffic is missing LATAM ITA Air Transat. And a few others. As well as the 767 and 757 models. Can that be added soon. Not realistic when delta is missing half its Boeing planes
Not the greatest place for feedback about fs traffic. maybe seeking out a video on FS Traffic would have been more appropriate or on our forum where there is a dedicated section to request liveries etc. 757 and 767 models are done and will be in the next update for FS Traffic. This was also made clear on release. Thanks for the feedback though.
Wow. The Analog Bonanza looks great, but this demo video was also fantastic. So many features demonstrated in so little time! Great work all around!

@@ImpendingJoker To be honest, I don't really care about stuff like each circuit breaker working at the like...
Owning the King Air and Caravan Mod, I am really looking forward to this one - and the Baron. It adds so much immersion. Nice work, BlackSquare!
I bought the Caravan Mod and truly love it !!!! Although I think there steam gauge mods are somewhat overpriced. Too bad.
@@jackbailey3156 somewhat overpriced?? not at all.
