Yes you need to replace the chips after refill the cartridges. otherwise the printer still think the cartridges are empty

hola muy buenas tardes yo te realice una pregunta desde otro usuario (jhoselim abad)... muchas gracias por responder manito arriba por eso... me tomo el momento para realizar unas consultas ya que soy de Venezuela y los suministros para dicha maquina no son nada económico... el problema es el siguiente la maquina esta totalmente nueva su primera recarga se la realice todo a la perfección se purgo el toner K antes de echarle polvo nuevo y se monto chip nuevo para el toner K... mi asombro es que dicho chip no duro las 8 mil copias como indica cuando mucho rindió 50 copias y en calidad texto y la densidad mas baja cabe destacar... mi asombro es inmediato... le realizo nuevamente una recarga y instalo un chip nuevo... pero me di cuenta que cada 3 copias el % porcentaje del nivel del toner K baja una unidad osea 78% tres copias y cambia a 77%... LA PREGUNTA ES PORQUE ME ESTA SUCEDIENDO ESTO... e leído en foros y lo poco que e podido encontrar a sido solo usuarios reportando el mismo problema pero nada de solución... por favor si me pudiera ayudar eternamente agradecido...

no its impossible, because after the chip has counted 8000 sheets, its damaged. You can't fix it. Only replace it. But those chips are not expensive.

Handling toner like that, vacuuming in a closed space with a small vacuum without HEPA filter, you know that toner is extremely toxic and causes cancer if inhaled or if you touch it, right? It is classified as a 2B carcinogen. I hope you're not doing this every day since 2012, or at least that you decided to get a mask or gloves if you do this regularly.
