- Kim was astonished when a stranger returned her daughter’s missing wallet to her house. So much so, she forgot to ask for his name. But she posted the video from her Ring Video Doorbell to the Neighbors App, and the man’s girlfriend saw the post and left a very sweet comment. Thanks to that, Kim was able to get in touch with the good Samaritan, whose name is Deronta.
“I was just so happy when I found him. I called him right away,” Kim says. “What an awesome guy he is! My daughter will be contacting him herself and hopefully we can arrange a dinner soon.”

Me, too! Honest people are blessing!
@John Smith Oh don't worry. I'm WELL aware of the evil in the world.
Honestly, I think there are more good people than bad. We just hear about negative things more frequently.
that is also what makes people want to do good things, because we hear so many negative things , we should want to do some good
I'm with you Carla, that's why this video means the world to me. They say nice guys finish last, it's been true very often, but sometimes we get to make someone's day.
Because the media doesn't make money about acts of kindness
Because good things don't make good news
The media highlights the many negatives of society while the positives are hidden away or overshadowed.
i’ve lost my wallet multiple times. thankfully lots of the times, people found it and returned it to me. thanks to all of the good people out there!
Why do you keep losing your wallet?
@@danafurlow3107 probably a hurricane

I found a wallet once with 1,100 dollars in it. I was low on cash at the time but I knew what I had to do. Do unto others and all that.
They guy gave me 100 dollars! Not to bad. I pretended not to want it but after the second :"Go on, take it!"
I did! I slept a lot better that night knowing I had done what was in my heart.
Probably no good would have come to you had you just kept it. The right thing feels good for a long time. Your heart is better off because of your actions.

I'm very proud to say that I did that back in the 80s. Found a sailor's wallet and tracked him down to return it to him. Had $101.00 in it and his military ID. The feeling of pride I got far outweighed any monetary gain I could have had by keeping the money. I still feel a strong sense of pride 40 years later.
Awesome of you to do that but I've gotta say that I love your profile pic. He wasn't my favorite Marx brother, though. 😊

Once my dad found a purse on the street it beloged to an old lady neighbour it got some money inside. My dad gave back to her and he got like 10 dollars for returning. The money of the purse was to buy some monthly food. Act of kindness can make the world better.
I was at the Enmark gas station on Waters Ave a few years ago a lady had drove away and left her purse on top of her car everything went everywhere in the road while I was gathering up what I could of all of her stuff other people started joining in and taking the money. I think in the end all I had for her was just her stuff I don’t even remember being able to give her any of her money back, I definitely didn’t keep any it happened so fast I didn’t even have time to fuss at the thieves. It didn’t take her long to come back to the store I was fire remember correctly in the process of getting the police to come when she showed back up. It really bothered me how everybody acted like vultures over her money it was sick. It made me sick. I haven’t always been perfect but I really get off on doing good for others.
Acts of kindness like this is what makes me feel good about life 😭😉
I’ve lost my bag with all my essentials once and it was entirely my fault because I left it on the chair beside me, the panic was unbearable, I fully understand her relief when it was given back to her
So what happened. Did you have to close youre credit card get a new one, new license, everything?
@@Abdul-ms7vo thankfully I realised before the restaurant closed and I didn’t own a credit card or was old enough to own a driver license, although I did panic and after that I still get really anxious about forgetting things but I got it returned only half an hour later so I was pretty lucky :)
Liar!
My daughters boyfriend lost his wallet with over $200. In it at target. After spending about an hour looking for it and asking employees he gave up and went home. As he walked to his door a car pulled up and a guy got off and handed him his wallet he had found in the parking lot. No money was missing. Proof we are a better community than most suspect. I love Pico Rivera Ca and all my neighbors here in my city. 👍🏾💪🏾❤️

I left my wallet in top of a gas station pump, and realized it once I got home. Now, good thing the gas station is like 5 mins away from my house, I realized it, panicked and drove back ASAP! And an Asian guy found it and returned it to the cashier!!! God bless that Asian man. This is what humanity is about.
Almost restores your faith in humanity - good man!
My Grandfather lost his wallet twice with over thousand dollars both times and got it back each time with all the money giving the finder a five Hundred dollar reward. Moral to the story is there are more people out there with a conscience then you would believe.
And God Bess your Grandfather.😇
I recently picked up a wallet in a parking lot, it was the man who had just walked past as I was getting out of my car. I flagged him down as he was about to drive away- he didn't even say thank you. I think the guy had his whole life in there it was so thick.
I just want to say thanks for spelling conscience properly.
The right think to do is take the 1000 and throw the wallet in a mail bin..😎

Sadly in life the good things are soon forgotten. The bad things are remembered for ever.
Did you just put 2 spaces between your sentences? I'll remember that forever! 😡
This man is awesome! True class! God bless him!
This is amazing ! A few years back I was rushing to get to my son to daycare so I can go to work, and left my wallet on the top of my car after putting him in his car seat. I didn’t even realize I had done that, but thankfully there were two gentlemen in a work truck that just so happened to be passing by in the opposite lane as I was pulling off. I noticed they made a U-turn in my rear view and didn’t think anything of it until they were honking at me ! I pulled over and he let me know he saw something fly off my car and handed me my wallet! I was stuck I could t believe it . They’re are good people out here, I’ll never forget that day! Now I immediately throw my wallet in the front if I’m not carrying my purse lol
Unfortunately in these times it is usually someone trying to car jack you.
My hubby was downtown (a half hour drive from home) and some *bad guy* discovered that hubby left the car unlocked. They stole our phone chargers and my coach wallet-purse (hubby had pulled out my cash and didn't put it back so it was out of sight/mind). The bad guy pulled my credit card from my purse and dropped it on the ground. Someone who was brand new to our rural town found it in the parking lot, and they went to the trouble to find our house (waaaay off the beaten track, with almost three miles of gravel roads winding through a forest). I was home chilling when we got a knock. Since we live so far away we don't get casual visitors. I wanted to hug the guy who came so far to deliver my purse back to me. It's always a restore-faith-in-humanity-moment when that happens.

I know how that feels I was coming out of a 7/11 one day going to my car I suddenly heard hey mister you dropped your wallet back there ever since that day I said to my self if I ever find a wallet I'm going to pass it on it's the right thing to do
I like it in the beginning how she thought she was going about to get robbed if it wasn't heavily edited you'll see it too
I saw that too. She was about to slam the door in his face.
The guy is a stranger, at least she still opened the door and eventually found out that he was there for a good reason
how tf she thought she was going to get robbed but still opened the door ??

Facts 🤣🤣🤣
I once dropped my car keys on the sidewalk in San Francisco on my way to a concert. When I finally realized my keys were gone, it was after midnight. The parking garage nearby was open so I thought I'd try. Sure enough someone had turned in my keys!! I wasn't even parked in the garage. And they could have easily figured out which car it was if they wanted. Great people exist and I love you all!
thank you unknown stranger this made my day.
Lucky lady to have a kind, honest man like Deronta and I'm so glad that she saw the message the lady left online. Great guy. Nice story 💞
neighbor51, you got yourself a good man. Don't let him go :-)
I lost my wallet on a trip from Michigan to Texas, lost it just before getting to Texas. A taxi driver found it and got back in touch with me and described the contents and it was exactly correct. That was one great man to do that.
Love it !
I’m a cabdriver... not to be negative but it’s a rare find to encounter a honest cabdriver. I get it, I sound so negative. I’ve been a cabdriver for 14 +1/2 yrs
I’m so happy to hear this positive story. It always aggravates me that cab drivers can rationalize being dishonest In the face of such a dangerous job and in life one makes their own luck. That’s great, I am enjoying these comments and this particular one gave me faith in cabdrivers. Yes I do know of honest cabdrivers it is just rare y’all.

My niece forgot hers in the food court. She was halfway to her car when she realized it. She sprinted through the mall and when she got back it was gone. Out of breath, she looked defeated. Then a nice lady walked up to her and hollered to her husband that she found the girl. My niece, and all of us, are so appreciative of the kindness. Pass that love on!🌻💙

I love when we show kindness to others in our community. God bless.
I seriously have found more lost children and ( separately) lost keys at malls and stores than anything else over the years. I always took the child to security and waited until the parent was reunited with them which was only a few minutes. Keys are a different issues. Most times customer service at retail stores are so overwhelmed they can't get to the keys right away.

It's amazing happened to me when my 7 year old was turning 1! I was at party city with her and my sister getting party stuff and it was all the money I had my ID hers and my social security card. Important stuff and I left my wallet in the basket when I was putting her back into the car and left the basket in the basket holder thing with others. We drove down the shopping center and parked at another store when I realized I left my wallet! Went back quickly to see the basket thing was empty! No baskets in the parking lot I ran into party city and asked the employees they said nobody found one or turned one in! I was panicking and I went up to every. Ustomer asking if they'd found a wallet nobody did I thought omg even if they did nobody is going to say yes! I was already giving up hope and saw a lady and a girl shopping and they didn't have big purses or anything in the basket besides items and I wasn't going to bother them like I did with other people with big purses. Then I just asked and they said we did find a wallet we left it in the car to take to the address on the ID when we're leaving I like started crying and they took me to their car and even made sure my indo was what was on the ID before giving it to me it was awesome my daughter would have had a different 1st birthday without them!
I lost my wallet a few times, I prayed God please let someone honest find it. I always have had it returned. I left it in a shopping cart at home depot once. I even went back to the home depot to see if someone had turned it in. No one had. I returned home only to find a gentleman at the door, he had found the wallet in the cart and returned it to me. I was unbelievably thankful. Thanks to all the honest folks out there.
I wish there were more people in the world like this man. 💙
He was so proud of himself to return that to them. What a sweet guy❤️I love him❤️
