I had a '74 GT80, brand new, my friend was riding it, went up a small hill, stalled it out, and while it was rolling backwards down the hill, the bike roll started, and the motor was then running in reverse! Maybe that's common I don't know, but I'd never seen it before. And it's true, my rich friend had an XR75 with a Bassani pipe on it - it sounded so cool. The GT80 was my first bike - I remember taking the pipe completely off and riding it around like that to see if it increased the power. My next bike was a 1976 RM125 - wish I had the means to have kept all my old bikes, as pretty much everything I had is now a collector.

I’ve never rode an fxr but I always say my dyna S reminds me of a heavy cr500 because of how close the gearbox is and how it goes from 0 to 100 real fast!
i worked all summer in 1976 with my grandpap construction for $1 dollar an hour to buy my friends 1973 xr 75. that bike was like brand new! paid $150 bucks for it.
I have dreams of motor bikes all the time and the last 2 I was at the new England motor cycle museum I've never been there before in real life lol from UK
All beautiful but the Blood Red CR tho, wheels need changing to chrome. Harleys are nice me being British we are Triumph people but Harleys are beautiful bikes. Love the wind shield Elvis had one on his 56 Harley that I saw on my visit to memphis. He looked cool as fuck cooler than Brando, nice haul guys you love what you do. Nice to see these machines being preserved. 🇬🇧

Still love u guys. The XR75 is Not a '74, they're Silver. A 1975 XR75 was my 1st bike! Saved every penny from 6-12 yrs old. Best $585.86 investment ever. Which is what u have. Look at the neck L. On another note, I didn't have alot of money growing up and watched my dad work his ass off, dump as much as he could into his 401k and now that he has built it up well, his health isn't very good and he can't walk more than 20ft without taking a break. (Cancer, back problems, other issues too) Have fun while you are able to, I guess is what I'm getting to. -- Sorry for being serious, haha

Man when I was a kid 1980 I had a XR 75 I rode it till the foot pegs fell off horrible design bolted into the aluminum block they would strip out so I rode it with my feet on the cases!
I have a 1982 Honda CR250 Elsinore in excellent shape I would probably call it at least a seven or an 8 out of 10 and then I have an 83 CR250 Elsinore just needs a pipe and put back together I would sell both bikes for a reasonable price not too many elsinore's left
Double tax nightmare Monday, but your money is safer on insured bikes. You guys bought some people's lives, every bike has a story, quick 10 second meet n greet sob story history etc with these bike owners would be kinda cool. Last one fits Jr, no need for jsxr.

A 1975 XR 75 was my 2nd bike at 7yo my first was a Honda ZR 50 at 5yo....then a 1982 YZ 125 at 15 yo..... I want a time machine..... miss it a lot 🥲🤟🍻

My 80 looked just like that I had a 73 yellow tank but it had red fenders I learned alot on that bike
My first bike was a rupp roadster 2, 3 1/2 horse rupp motor. Belt to chain drive. Sure miss that bike. I thrashed the thing lol
