Kaplan team you guys have bought back so many memories for me on 2 strokes. My dad had a small farmlet and he plowed at track for me and my mate to ride on. I had a Yamaha 80 and my mate had a Jawa 150. We raced around and around it all day. We had horses, sheep and a few dry stock cattle. The animals got use to us burning around and we had so much fun. Love your work guys thanks again.
The're not going to show you all the secrets .that is each man's livelihood to put food in his children's mouths and my boss if not once he told me a 1000 times "KEEP IT UNDER YOUR HAT" don't be telling my customers how to fix their own bikes as they will never buy new one if they fix their old ones ..i said Gale (my boss)they are not tearing up their old bikes waiting for me to get them running again ...besides like you but working on trade ends with our motto "new used or abused you just cant loose when you deal with Hughes Honda that is red rockets and black gold wings that is as we will not be under sold ..and believe it or not Honda of Brazil Indiana sold more GL1000 and red 4 stroke quads than any dealer in the united states from 1975 - 1982 of over 2000 gold wings and over 400 farm quads every year ..big red was big ..and I was the only factory trained certified and authorized by American Honda to service all the ATVs GL1000 - 1100. -1200 s and all the CRs from 1973 to 1983 and I told every little kid how to give the intake valve on any of those four stroke quads a quarter turn backed off for tiny extra clearance after they ran them out oil dozens of times pulling the intake valves into a mushroom and the little atvs would fire back up again but mostly for the time ..as this one little kid looks up at his older brother who's maybe 9. Little brother says WOW how he do dat ? Big looks down to him and says

It never broke or failed on me and I got my first holeshot at Ponca City at my first GNC National . Like I said it was blessed . PK

I know my Dad, looking down on me from Heaven, will love this 2 stroke!

I’ve been a professional auto technician 20 years, had a small used car lot I did for like 7 years just on the side, I opened my own auto repair shop 3 years ago. I worked on bikes before cars, I’ve always loved 2 strokes, love working on them, worked on so many snowmobiles. I got into drag racing so I didn’t mess with bikes or sleds for a bunch of years. I will fix a bike, 4wheeler, sled for people once in a while like the last few years because the bike shops were 4 months behind. I stopped drag racing years ago it just wasn’t fun anymore it was just pouring tens of thousands into the car then something breaks them it’s more money so I stopped. I bought one of them cheap 2 stroke engines you put on a bicycle, I did a big bore kit, bought a bunch of pistons to experiment with different window sizes, port timing, stuffed the case, tons of porting, mill the top of cylinder way down, just a ton of port work because they are just a junk engine, big 23mm carb tuned just right 45mph on a mountain bike and I weigh 250 pounds lol. Doing this little 2 stroke bike engine has made me want to get back into dirt bikes and realize how much I miss them! Man it would be fun restoring bikes everyday I would much rather do that then work on cars! I wouldn’t want to work on road bikes every day but man dirt bikes would be fun! I specialize in engine, transmission, electrical and diagnostic work, would be nice to just work on easy stuff like this and most of all taking an old bike and making it like new again!
I saw that silver tank 76 Elsinore in the background. Mine had white fenders too when I got it as a basket case. I thought they were wrong so I put red fenders on mine. Raspy bark to that motor
I had that YZ100 when I was a kid. Brand new bike my dad got for me when I outgrew my RM80. It is a 1982. It was fast. I could keep up with a 125 but it had very little low end so I really had to rev it to the moon.
I like that. IT my dad had a IT an alway talked about it an when I younger I didn't understand but now I got into vintage an I can see why he liked it when they came out they were a good bike
I give thanks to the great Americans that fought WW2, Thank you from Canada 🇨🇦 and the Nederlands 🇱🇺
If Sr. wasn’t wearing shades when Jr. said “I have no interest in riding 4-strokes” I think we woulda seen him tearing up 😭😂 Respect ✊🏽

I'll take the IT 490! White 465 would be cool too.
Good man bro! I love seeing people do good things these days. Respect
I saw that silver tank 76 Elsinore in the background. Mine had white fenders too when I got it as a basket case. I thought they were wrong so I put red fenders on mine. Raspy bark to that motor
Wow man just wow I’m drooling 🤤 over every single one of those man

I had that YZ100 when I was a kid. Brand new bike my dad got for me when I outgrew my RM80. It is a 1982. It was fast. I could keep up with a 125 but it had very little low end so I really had to rev it to the moon.
Those Yamaha's got me drooling!!..I'm moving to Rockville&pitching camp in your parking lot!!
I'm guessing Suzuki's are the rarest of all 2 strokes pe rm ts wished I kept my pe175 rode the wheels off it had so much fun RIP old girl
