I was out roughing in at 19 and didn’t know a damn thing either getting yelled at for not knowing. Those older plumbers didn’t believe in firing your ass they would try to torture you till you quit. After a few months they saw that I kept coming back for more punishment and decided to start teaching me. They helped me learn the trade and provide for my family. As a master plumber and business owner now there is no way in hell I would be online talking shit about my employees or people under me. It’s a bad look all the way around, but what the hell do I know. Happy New Year brother.

Hi John Happy New Year to you and you're too babies I wish you the best for next year I have the same fears about these tankless water heaters so I decided since mine is getting old I'm going to install one for myself and then kind of learn how to do the maintenance and everything on mine and then I'm going to start offering that service I have 240 for my dryer which I don't use it's gas so I'll probably just branch off from there and just change the breakers to whatever it calls for and then I'll probably just get out of my comfort zone and maintain it for at least 6 months play with it go through it a lot and then maybe in 6 months or so after I'm done exploring the one that I own I'll offer to install them hopefully I can stick to the brand that I buy and then also try to get some experience with the repairing part of it but I think if I actually install one in my house I'll be more apt to go through it and play with it and learn just my thought My old water heater is starting to knock a little bit so it's time. John do they have a washing machine in the house. Because the mixing valve in washing machine goes bad and it lets cold water into hw. I've had it happen to me multiple times. Shut the water off to washer and try it.
Uncle John, i really enjoy my tankless water heaters. If it's electric it should be a 240v heater, if it's 110v your right they are only for point of use application.
I have had a few clients ask about Electric tankless heaters. I talk them out of them. Many to get any kind of recovery must have at least a 100 Amp or more breaker. That still doesn't get a good recovery. I also tell them that they will need to upgrade the main panel to at least 200 Amp. That normally is enough to go another direction. Happy New Year John. Hoping 2025 will be better for you. Those $400..00 tankless heaters are good only for a single fixture and not a soaking tub.

You might have to take a trip up north, visit Mikey Pipes trades training wall. Johnny Sunshine can give Mikey some recruiter tip. Mike seems a little hypocritical with that training wall when it comes to his new hires. He should test and show the new hires.

You should put a sign on your truck ... "please don't call me about your tankless". There is three of them in my building and every time there is an issue I unplug and plug them back in ... works half the time. Or turn the temp up one degree and that seems to get them to turn on again. Ridiculous though. Service guys tell me don't turn the temp up higher than 130. They say it will ruin the unit in no time at all. Nevermind burn somebody. And big thumbs up to the singing. How that can bother someone I will never understand. And yes delete the haters.

its obvious this heater dosent belong in the house and suspect that the plumbing is all a mess might be no water heater will work you gotta have flow old galvie ? put a bypass loop at the tankless if water barely reaches the tub no water heater will fix it . if you want to give it all up and invest cash like mikey pipes does get a brand new truck and re invent your self as a water heater specialis or even a tankless water heater specialist good luck I wouldnt we are in our 60s figure out what you want to do Id say stick with being a plumber your good at it .
