The Bible is clear that salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ!
Genesis 15:6: “And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.”
Habakkuk 2:4: “Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.”
Mark 1:15: “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”
Mark 16:16: “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Luke 8:12: “Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.”
Luke 7:50: “And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.”
Luke 8:12: “Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.”
John 1:12: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”
John 3:(14,)15: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.“
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:18: “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
John 3:36: “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
John 5:24: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 6:35: “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
John 6:40: “And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. “
John 6:47: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”
John 7:38: “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
John 8:24: “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”
John 11:25: “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:”
John 11:26: “And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
John 12:46: “I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.”
John 16:27: “For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.”
John 20:31: “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”
Acts 2:21: “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Acts 5:14: “And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)”
Acts 8:12: “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”
Acts 8:13: “Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.”
Acts 8:37 (8:35-38): “Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.”
Acts 10:43: “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.”
Acts 11:17,18: “Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.”

Predominant sins in all churches today:. Drug use. Fornication. Most preachers mention neither, but foster the continuation of both. Thank you for good preaching.

    Pastors notes
    1. The Eternal Nature of Salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 3:36; Ephesians 2:8-10.
    2. The Judgment Seat of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:9-10.
    a. It will take place in Heaven soon after the Rapture of the church.
    b. It is a time of Judgment to determine our reward and the loss of reward that we could have had. 1 Corinthians 3:5-8.
    c. It is personal. Romans 14:10-12; 1 Corinthians 3:9-13.
    d. It is based on faithfulness and our motives. 1 Corinthians 4:1-5.
    3. The results of the Judgment Seat of Christ.
    a. There will be reward. 1 Corinthians 3:14.
    b. There will be praise and honor. John 12:26; Hebrews 6:9-10.
    c. There will be suffering of loss. 1 Corinthians 3:15.
    d. There is the potential for shame. 1 John 2:28, 3:2-3.
"The Judgment Seat of Christ can be compared to a commencement ceremony. At graduation, there is some measure of disappointment and remorse that one did not do better and work harder. However, at such an event, the overwhelming emotion is joy, not remorse. The graduates do not leave the auditorium weeping because they didn't make better grades. Rather, they are thankful that they have been graduated and are grateful for what they did achieve. To overdo the sorrow aspect of the judgement seat of Christ is to make Heaven Hell. To underdo the sorrow aspect is to make faithfulness inconsequential. " The Judgment Seat of Christ by Hoyt.

I struggle with the idea that we will will have regrets at the Judgement Seat of Christ. I don’t think that is biblical. What underlies regret is sorrow and in the case of rewards, possibly envy. We will have none of that in Heaven. I find it conspicuous that there isn’t a clear explanation of just what these rewards exactly are.

The Bible does tell us that we will suffer loss.
      1 Corinthians 3:
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
      12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

@@Northlandchurchstc Suffering loss and having regrets are two different things. One is a reaction to the other. I just don’t think we are going to care about whatever the loss is in 1 Cor 3. Anything different would fly in the face of Rev 21:4.

The Lord said his reward is with him he meets Us in the air or atmosphere not heaven he said my reward is with me I believe before we go to heaven There are bad works that will burn up like hey and stubble I do not believe that We enter heaven with those bad works he presents us holy and spotless we have already been purged from them separating us from them our good works from our bad works by fire I believe that is why we meet him in the air before we go to heaven that is what I get from reading the scriptures God bless you and your message of Grace the only way to the Father the narrow way
