One of the good things about Botw may be its simplicity. Well, in regards to the weapons system . In addition, there was more time, I felt, spent in Botw slowly traversing through the land rather than zooming through it. This gives that game a certain amount of serenity that I enjoy in contrast to Totk.
theres 152 shrines in TOTK, 120 on land, and 32 in thesky. i actually like the shrines (i did all of them) and something cool is that if you completed the puzzles in the shrines you can play them again like the Lever Power shrine (Wao-os Shrine). the Proving Ground shrines though you can do them again too but it wont take away your armor and weapons like when you did them your first try. for some reason the shrines feel easier to find then Breath of the Wild. I think a lot of em' were easier too, i noticed a lot of them were blessing shrines and you could literally guess what shrine was a blessing which is quite sad. there was only like 3 shrines i looked on the internet for. i feel like the shrines were good most of the time though. the previous game was mainly about exploring and Tears of the Kingdom is both exploring AND creativity. i love this video, it explains almost every part of TOTK throughly🙂. i get how you like the BOTW shrines better, i like them mainly since they were more complex and it makes my brain work a tiny bit more than TOTK. i think im done typing this comment though
It took many hours before I stopped fusing weapons together. I don't feel like the game did a good idea of encouraging you to fuse monster parts at the beginning. On the Sky Islands, I couldn't agree more. The marketing was mostly about the sky and was overall disappointing. The Depths only had a small amount of marketing, and yet it was clearly important to development. I would much rather have had expansions in the sky though. We could have seen the ruins of various civilizations. Imagine if the Wind Shrine, Oocaa, Skyloft, etc had been made for us instead of the Depths. Also, your analysis of the dubgeons was exactly my feelings after playing. Better than BotW, but still clearly lacking compared to previous 3D Zelda games. I think the Phantom Ganon fight should have been a one time fight inside the Deku Tree, not every time you fight the gloom hands. And not at Hyrule Castle.

Your voice is calm and nice video, thank you 🙏
Glad to see you doing videos again
Still working on beating the game. Still early in, but it's a lot of fun.
