Less than a minute in I knew everything i needed to know about it. 1 its beautiful, 2. it will be crazy expensive and 3. Even if I could afford or was allowed to buy another bike the waiting list for these will be so ridiculously long, there's no point in trying.
Train [a LOT] more if you don't like to wait! Top 5 finishers at major gravel events get them on release day. But then again - they're at a level of comp where the latest and greatest makes an actual difference ;)
Love the bike. One minor point I don't get that all the reviewers I've seen keep bringing up: The seat tube clamp being in front of the tube instead of behind it. I have last year's Grevil and my seat tube clamp is in the exact same place, in front of the tube. Also - it's not a change - the third bottle mount is also on the old model. I'd love to get the new one but I still love my "old" Grevil - I just hope Pinarello sources the new fork so I can TICR my cables too!
Crossing the Atacama desert on a Pinarello to me sounds like crossing it with a Ferrari on off-road tyres; sort of a TopGear approach to life. With GCN recently having become the equivalent in the bike world I definitely petition for this to be a thing!
Thank you fro the sharing the information as I just bought one yesterday and waiting to delivery. Manon you always are the best in reality to believe you with facts of Cycling.
It's called the Fork Flap on a 2020 Grevil as well. This is NOT a new concept and it's purpose is not aerodynamics, but to protect the disc on disc brakes from debris.
What an awesome bike. My OCD kicked in though when you showed us the asymmetric split. As a mainly gravel rider, this sure does look nice to ride though. Thanks Manon!! 😀
Little fancier than my salsa journeyman but my bike gets me everywhere I need to go. Just wish I had a clutched rear mec. Hydraulic brakes would be nice too.
It's beautifully designed! 😃👍 BUT... with such an aero downtube with a flat backside Pinarello should offer a specific bottle cage and/or bottle, like BMC! 😉
Tech Q here I LOVE the look of the Sram flat top top chain. But I run an 11 speed shimano ulterga groupset. Sram on the other hand does.12 speed so my question is could I simply take out/add some links to make it fit my setup? Or do I have to change multiple components? Plz help! My current chain has 126 links where as Sram flat tops very from 114 links to 120. Could this be as simple as adding a few links to match my 126 or would the size and gaps not fit ? Thanks for any help
The consensus is that it won't be properly compatible. But then again - they say that about everything - and yet I've matched a Sram 22 crankset to a Shimano Ultegra groupset (2 x) - and it works very well.
There are several features that Manon didn't mention. The tube is shaped to minimize rock damage and to add to stiffness. The bike is also "beefier" in the fork, head tube, and both sets if stays for use on gravel vice the Dogma F. The Italian "dub" bottom bracket also eliminates noise and maximizes power transfer.
Hello. I am in mumbai and the roads here are horrible with potholes and stuff. I am looking for a fast bicycle which is versatile and can last at least for 5-7 years or more, and is safe in the rains, bad roads and the occasional mountain trips on the road. I deciding between this pinarello and the roubaix sport considering it is at a similar price (lower spec components) and can upgrade components in time if needed. Any suggestions which is better?
Hello GCN, I ride around 8,000 miles a year on the rural roads of south Leicestershire, which are in a shocking state. I've done all the usual things to reduce road vibration (double bar tape, adapted tyre pressures, etc) and now ride a Specialized Roubaix and Giant Defy Advanced, which are the best road bicycles that I've come across for dealing with our terrible roads, but would a gravel bicycle be an even better option? If so, which one would you recommend whilst still giving good pace on road? Many thanks.
I'm not GCN but not necessarily would be the answer to your question, you'd get more cush from being able to run fatter tires sure. Something like a Salsa Warbird, where the rear end is specifically designed for vibration reduction might be worth a look. However geometry is typically slacker than a road bike, but varies from road-ish to almost an MTB so you may not get the handling you'd want on the road. But there's also the popular (among gravel riders) Redshift stem and seatpost which you could fit to any bike. Going tubeless and dropping the pressure more than you can with tubes if you haven't don't so is massive on crummy roads. Could save you from buying a whole new ride.
I was in my favorite LBS two days ago, and they had a Pinarello Paris with Shimano 105 for $3500. It was a size 60, so too big for me. It'll be a year or more before I see one of these up close.
Why do people feel the need to comment on Manon after every video? You don't see similar comments for videos with Hank, Si, Ollie etc... but just in the 47 comments that are here as I type this we've got: "A nice girl on a nice bike" "Manon 😍😍😍" "A video full of beauties" "Beautiful and so is the bike"
Ok I just remember that this Pinarello has to prove it vs the Pinarello that was built up GCN... am waiting for the results and the video... let's say a 200 Mile Gravel road test... summer solstice is coming... ok I can leave it to just the 100.
Nice bike. Great job Manon. I have nothing against Si but it's good that someone else has the opportunity to present new stuff. Still holding onto italian BB?
4% faster at your normal gravel speed of 40 kph But I guess if you put in one more slowmotion of riding trough the same mud puddle it would be a better promo video. But to be honest, I allways like the looks of pinarello
It's not 4% faster, it's 4% more "aero" which saves you 5W in ideal conditions. Keep in mind those ideal conditions never occur on some bumpy gravel trail.
@@iddra1868 It almost never occurs on the road in normal conditions either, hard to find those aero benefits when you waiting for the lights to change or in the wake of the cars that pass every few seconds or so.
I have another bike that claims to be aero gravel. Probably the original aero gravel bike. And I couldn’t care less about saving watts. I just dig the looks.
This bike has nearly everything which i don’t like on Gravelbikes: InternalCabelrouting (bad for working on it), aerodynamic seatpost(do i get another one in 5 Years) and design overkill at the frame…
Nice bike but again a gravel bike that‘s only available in black, moss green and brown (even if it is called champagne). I have the feeling that the fork flap will cause compatibility tears at some point.
What do you make of the new Pinarello Grevil F?
Looks interesting tbh, It'll grow on me
l'm just finishing building up a fake pinarello grevil. we'll see once it's done
to me the dropped chainstays make it look like it's worn out or melting.
Forkflap
Awesome

You didn't know that already by only reading the title? 😜
so true
Could pick one up by....oh I don't know 2026 or so if you put in your order now

What a sad reply.... smh
That bike is so jaw droppingly gorgeous I don't think I'd ever actually ride it on gravel XD
Yeah - no way. The first ding or scratch would break my heart.
the most i ride mine on are dirty tarmac roads near the forrests haha
WOW, the aerodynamics make this bike so fast Manon had to ride it with her gilet open so the cameras could capture the action.
slow and smooth they turned Manon into the graveler one in GCN.
Next you might see her on GMBN videos as an off road trail goddess.
Manon nailing her bunny hop!
Maghalie Rochette gave her some lessons over in Canada! 👉 ruclips.net/video/J6A7e5E_aj4/видео.html

that bunny hop from the dragon queen -- slay!!!
Amazing design form Pinarello and beautifull colurs! I love this bike 🙂

Good reveiw and love the colour change!! Cheers.
Definitly looks sick! But i neeeeed more mounting options! And ... more money of course for this one.
Thank you for testing a bike spec'd out with the Campagnolo Ekar. I really do love how well it works and nice to see it on other bikes.
Agree that "Fork Flap" sounds terrible. "Fork Flare" would have been more appropriate with the flame they've added.
It's called the Fork Flap on a 2020 Grevil as well. This is NOT a new concept and it's purpose is not aerodynamics, but to protect the disc on disc brakes from debris.

all asymmetric bikes looks kinda "weird"
Fantastic bike from a fantastic brand and then I have not start speak about the paint!
That's a really nice looking bike
100 thumbs up with anything Manon is in!!!!!
Manon 😍😍😍
ooohhh so nice!!! 🙂
Should make these also in that previous burgundy red colour 😉
A gravel Pinarello é na verdade super incrível.
Little fancier than my salsa journeyman but my bike gets me everywhere I need to go. Just wish I had a clutched rear mec. Hydraulic brakes would be nice too.
I love my Pinarello . I’d like a grevil
The inner surface of those rims has a nice scalloped shape. It looks like more wind resistance. The lumps might collect mud.
It's beautifully designed! 😃👍
BUT... with such an aero downtube with a flat backside Pinarello should offer a specific bottle cage and/or bottle, like BMC! 😉

That’s a gravel bike?!? I so believed Manon’s acting, i think she deserves a contract from Disney+!!! 😂

You guys are awesome! Manon is a great presenter. And if I may say, as an American, I find her accent super pleasant!
Waaaaayyyyy cooler than the roadie bike 🥰😎🤓🤩
Manon saying, "That's bloomin cool." should be a meme.
No it shouldn't
crazy to see that that fork weighs almost as much as specializeds aethos frame
Great video!
What size is it?
H I w tall are you?
Thanks
Absolutely beautiful. The bike is quite nice too.
awesome filming! these angles! and I dont talk about the bike :D
beautiful
What's with the wheels ? Are the spokes too tight ?
Awesome & Thanks :)
The hosers in Canada 🇨🇦 didn’t have flapping vests but I’m glad you are handicapping or is that sandbagging
Awesome bike
This bike looks amazing. I could never justify buying a bike that's more expensive than my car..
Simple solution. You need to upgrade your car too 😄
это просто космос
Will it come as a e-bike
If I may ask, how tall are you, riding a size 53?
Hello. Beautiful but what is the price please ?
There's this obstacle between me and this bike, it called MONEY!

But jokes aside on your point it's true really creepy don't know why people do it.
@@tomrachellesfirstdance7843 We all compliment Ollie on not getting dropped!
looks kinda lumpy
Which wheel is this?
Wait, was that Manon doing an actual bunny hop @1:30?
The asymmetric seat stays are interesting and cool... yet quite disturbing to my inner OCD.
Where was this filmed? At around the 2 minute mark I here american sirens.
01:55 "SICK"
Ok I just remember that this Pinarello has to prove it vs the Pinarello that was built up GCN... am waiting for the results and the video... let's say a 200 Mile Gravel road test... summer solstice is coming... ok I can leave it to just the 100.

Nice
sick!
I could barely afford to watch this video, yet alone buy one. 🤣
Nice bike. Great job Manon. I have nothing against Si but it's good that someone else has the opportunity to present new stuff. Still holding onto italian BB?
i watch this channel the same way the i watch channels that review yachts lol.
Is it pronounced like it rhymes with evil or prevail?
Thats soo sexy, though Manon claims to explain all I need to know about the bike, she forgot to explain why the bike is not in my shed.
The bike complements Manon very nicely
Sold.
This is what I'd sell every bike for
I seem to be an outcast with this opinion, but I really dislike Pinarello’s tube shapes. There are so many other better looking frames out there.
Pinarello , All out of stock, always.
Its just a 90's MTB innit?
But slower 🤣
@@domefford864 full gas everywhere, though!
Asymmetrical frame and asymmetrical helmet fit.
For 500gr more you get a 29er hardtail
Those wheels look like they’re having an anxiety attack
I can’t watch such content 🙃 This bike is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 and soooo out of budget 😂
I'm ok that this is not 100% suited for long overland trips... let it be a race gravel bike. Other brands will handle the long leisurely adventures.
4% faster at your normal gravel speed of 40 kph

Gravel bike without mudguards.... makes sense....
Grevil has EVIL price!!!
It’s a doable price for me.
A video full of beauties... 👍👍👍👍
0:45 - and yet there is something awkward here, isn't it? ;)
I'd put road groups on such nice frameset
Ok, enjoy being over geared I guess?
Watts saving at 40kph for a gravel bike, that really is a metric with real world application. Italian BB as well. So funny.
Beautiful and so is the bike
Kinda cringe bro
SIMP
Ummmm nice
How much does that bad boy cost?
$3,299 not sure how much in pounds
$3500 for frame only. $6500 for what is shown but with diff wheels.
It's beige....
Wheres it made?

I realize its a race bike, not a travel bike, but the lack of a top tube bento box mount... Really?
It's called the F. Because when you ask the price your then reply is "How F...... much !"
How many of your viewers will ever get to ride a Pinarello? I’m guessing less than 5%.
im gonna put sone pinarello stickers on my bianchi corsa, noone will notice
😂😂 a forkflap..genius 😬...no ridiculing in the back 😂😂
To much rounded shapes for my liking. I am 80' child and I prefer my straight and sharp design.
*BAD ROADS* deserve *BAD ROAD* BIKES (gravel not included) --We never tire of bad puns.
All of this sounds too expensive for me lol
Vids may be more appealing if you reviewed more affordable bikes. It would stop this channel and cycling on the whole from looking snobby and elitist
