You'd think with all these different gems that caused statuses, like burn paralysis bleed, and break, they would have the brains to make a gem that has auto attack art seal on weapon conditions
on a recent replay i somehow started the battle with the telethia at the part where you have to use mind blast or purge to erase the aura on the telethia and melia for some reason did not equip mind blast to her arts list this time even though she did on my previous playthrough so i got stuck unable to beat the telethia and had to let it kill me
And that is why you just Mind Blast the damn things... after losing the boss fight once because of course you learn it immediately AFTER the automatic menu you get to reconfigure your party, and thus cannot use it to actually equip Mind Blast for the boss fight.

That sounds like it could be a cool idea I’ll take a look through Malos’s lines I’ve neglected them so far! this is me, but for the mines boss in the beginning of the game

The fight they're showing is the first Telethia, when you're stuck with just Shulk and Alvis. Mind Blast isn't an option.
