I get MeTV over the air in my area on a primary channel, 11.1. They don't have MeTV Plus on their subchannels though, so I'm not hopeful. Not going to pay for a live streaming "cable equivalent". Have most DVD/Blu releases of the Warner Brothers cartoons and the MGM Tex Avery cartoons, along with the complete series sets on DVD of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Underdog, so IF I don't get the channel, no big loss.
First tiny problem: on Frndly, the Gerry Anderson shows are restricted from being recorded, and those run from 4 to 6 AM. OTOH, the Bullwinkle intro is one that must be the original, which is awesome. Edit: And just as suddenly, that restriction is gone! Sorry.
There will be a lot of overlap with boomerang. I would like to see more rare toons. Tranzor z ,. Partridge family cartoon. The filmation super heroes. Old spider man
This isn't replacing any cable network. This will be a free ota channel. If boomerang and cartoon network go away it's due to a drastic drop in viewership of those channels by themselves. If they want more viewers, they need to find away to improve their situation and get more viewership. I don't see that happening though.

Dave, MeTV Toons is 480p not 720p & 1080p when it's released June 25. Bur I got Philo so I'll watch it in 1080p. Dave, So far there're 125+ affiliate channels has pick-up MeTV Toons (most of are Ch.??-1) but they'll add more channels every few days when it's come.

I subscribed to FrndlyTV recently just for MeTV Toons. Of course, MeTV and MeTV+ are great, too. Also, they will have Gerry Anderson's Super-Marionation shows.
