The design may be outdated but I think the styling is still really good, the forward sloping grill reminds me of the Ram 1500
love the dodge charger from the time it came out :D
the chevy impala is actually a great car! i recommend that over the charger....
OK so more than 95% of the people who have commented on this hate the car way to go thats really inspiring..........My mother and I own 2 dodge products she has the daytona and I have a ram 1500 2006 and they both are good cars!!!!her car before that was a nightmare!!

i agree it is time for a new look after 5 years of the same car but this one still looks good , its just old.

I watched a video where they tested this and said that the AWD system only turns on in cold temperatures?
What about slippery roads during summer then? Will the system sense tire-slip and still activate the AWD or not?
As soon as it starts slipping it goes into AWD

@Charles2337 I'm a Mopar guy. I know that the only time American car makers pay attention to what they're doing is when they make performance cars. Everything else is usually junk. I understand what your saying, I just wanted to see if you share my enthusiasm... What Chryslers have you owned may I ask?

@Charles2337 The Charger was on the Consumer reports recomended list for 2006, 2007 amd 2009. I have had mine with 50k not one problem and I beat it. Every company has its issues but whats most important is that the HEMI engine is bullet proof.
For Christ's sake this is 2010 and I ain't no cab driver, I'd get a Taurus over this any day. Especially with that SHO version giving the same performance as a V8 for the gas mileage of a sophisticated V6.
@bajabusta I know what you mean, I've actually driven an SXT version of the Charger that looked more menacing than this. It had the optional appearance package. Rear spoiler, different rocker covers and the like.
I HAVE THIS CAR!
Its ment to resemble a muscle car ur suppose to sit low and leaning back in a muscle car that the only way there ment to be driven. Only downfall with the charger is there should be a coupe ( challenger just doesn't compare to the old general) and it should have a manual transmission option.

@Charles2337 Yeah maybe, they were hardly as appealing. I did kinda feel that way when I saw the interior, The whole car really isn't very good competition against the Camaro or the Mustang. Chrysler really needs to step its game up.
@dude486 Its not the same as the Camaro and Mustang and never was, the compition for this car was the Pontiac G8, Toyota Avalon, Infiniti G35... Challenger is for the Camaro and Mustang.

@roadrunners83 its a full sized car with a shit load of power. Its gonna belong to suburbanites. with families, so they care. but people who like muscle cars, no.... we dont care...
It looks like the AWD version has a taller suspension.

i'm pissed we lost Pontiac but we still have fuckin Buick when was the last time Buick made a great car 1986 GN at least Pontiac had the grand prix and fire bird you see those all the time what has Buick given us

with most stop lights positioned on the other side of the intersection and ones on street level like at 1:13, why is the windshield an issue? you can see out of it cant you? stop making "defects" out of thin air and actually rate the dang car! at no point did you talk about climate controls, radio, various options, or the back seats, NOT A SINGLE THING!

If you're thinking about getting this car, don't. If the car doesn't break and kill you, the horrendous service at the dealers will. Take your money elsewhere
If you're going to buy a Dodge Charger, at least buy the SRT-8 or the older 1969/1970 versions.
