Another lovely reference to Ravens Slumber (locket) being called a "pokeball" is that when trinket is stored the first time it beeps 3 times like how a pokeball does in the games.
@@PSIworld13 That is an extremely logical and convincing point. My only issue with that is how much the scene focused on that God, with them taking up most of the screen, instead of Pelor, who I think is the head of the pantheon. Could we both be wrong? Perhaps it's meant to be the matron? That would make sense thematically considering the source of the vision, but I highly doubt it.
The matron is after Kord who is after Pelor. Edit: In the mural that is. The Diamond headed figure also appears in the mural so reasonably I don’t think it the matron.
I'm pretty sure it's actually the Archheart. The star and half-moon iconography is a dead giveaway. As for why they are center, I don't believe there actually is a reason, beyond looking cool.
I don't like that Sam's daughter voiced young Keyleth. It's ok for npc children, but not here. Everyone else got to voice their characters as young kids, why not Marisha? Really breaks the immersion that this is young Keyleth.
so far the kid machinas shown have been teenagers so the original VAs' lower voices are more reasonable. marisha probably can't go high enough to make a believable 5-8(?) year old. it was either it breaks the immersion cuz it doesn't sound like her adult voice or it breaks the immersion cuz this toddler sounds like a young adult and frankly its a really cute voice for young keyleth what's there to hate
Honestly, the knockoff Beholder is cool enough to be its own monster.
And it's called an onlooker

Kiki’s face at 2:15 is adorable
It's basically just the face Marisha would make anytime there was PC romance at the table lol.
3:54 you can hear the mother saying the name laudna
More great work, love it.
Thank you !
Did anyone notice that Keyleth's father looks a lot like avatar Roku?
Pretty sure Sehanine is actually Mystryl, goddes of magic. The star on the forhead is a dead ringer for her holy symbol.
The only Problem: Mystryl has never existed in the Exandria-Setting. She simply doesn't exist there.

Could they not use an actual beholder because of copy rights? Or was this just an artistic choice for storytelling purposes?
The former.
Due to copyright.
Same with the Deity names. They've also generally started straying away from D&D terminology.
@@mikahoolwerff3563 Actually, I believe the Beholder was a homebrewed version in the original session, so it was neither of the original options
@@honkfiend7981 Matt still called it a Beholder, and it still had the standard Beholder stuff like anti-magic cone and petrification ray.
@@CrownofMischief this Beholder wasn't sentient and didn't have any other of Beholder abilities
