i've talked to him when i was a kid in the 90' at a Super Chevy event my mom and dad were racing in at Memphis Motorsports Park but i highly doubt he would remember
My friend went that day and his wife pass out and the emergency crew take her to the medical place and he was walking looking for the place and Mr Force hear him asking for directions because was lost and he take him in his golf cart and drive him to the medical place and talk to him like they are friends.💪💪💪👍⚡️
They say that reactions slow down with age. I'm not sure these guys would even be running on reactions any more, they have been doing this for so long that it's become muscle memory which is faster than reactions anyway.
That's so wild man! I remember when the legendary Kenny Bernstein ran 330mph in the Budweiser dragster and it was such a huge accomplishment. I wish they would go back to a quarter mile instead of 1000 ft
John Force did something incredibly nice for my in laws and is forever sealed as a terrific human being. It was unsolicited, spontaneous, and very heartwarming. Great to see him still at the top!
I’m so excited that M.S. It’s over on John’s car this year!!! They have so many good people and John can still drive, I want him to get another championship.. he is the GOAT.. all there is to it :)
Went to Atco Dragway in the mid 90's. John Force was there with Shirley Muldowney. Show got rained out,. John gave out used pistons and signed them. Shirley gave out photos and signed them. They made our day. Still got the piston!
It's Always Good To See A John Force / Cruz Pedregon Show Down & I Remember See Cruz Winning The 1992 NHRA Funny Car Title Against John , Cruz Driving Joe Gibbs McDonald Pontiac & Here It Is In 2023 Those 2 Guys Are Still Performing At A Elite Level , This Is So Cool 👍👍✌️
I know this is stupid, but I just haven't been into mainstream drag racing since I was a kid in the 80s and 90s...is this 1000 foot? I don't see it anywhere. Also incredibly random to hear someone talk about that old McDonald's team when Steve Morris just posted his origin story video yesterday, where he talks about that team as well.
love the guy hate the sponsor how does burning more stuff and making more packaging help, battery's are for starting big motors and blue def is not doing anything for the environment except generate more waste 2c great pass John love it
I can run a crotch rocket through Road Atlanta, or the twisty back roads where I grew up that would make your head spin, but I respect the heck out of you rally guys! That being said, driving a funny car or top fuel dragster is not as easy as it might appear. The horsepower is almost unfathomable. I've driven at Daytona in a Bush series car, and that wasn't as easy as it looks either. I've got respect for all of the types of internal combustion engine racing there is. It's easy to talk trash. I wouldn't ever presume to know rally racing, and disrespect it or the people involved. Then there's the Isle of Man...
Unlike most motorsports, in the top levels of drag racing the tiniest mistake like getting off the sticky part of the lane means you've probably just lost the race or worse. There's no making up for mistakes here.
The BIG question. It's bound to happen eventually and for the same reason. I don't want to see anyone get hurt or killed but it's always been 1320 with NHRA and that's what set them apart from the IHRA. This is the Big League and if you can't deal with it go back to the Little Leagues till you can. Just MHO...
@@DylanBigBruh honestly prices have gone up for this year and quality is down so far less camera angles and worse track audio but it is just the first weekend. I wouldn’t recommend buying it unless your going to diehard watch every session and event throughout the year
@@NitroAlley even older then my dad, I knew he was up there thats up the foodchain, must have a huge fitness routine, that much power lays into you might only be for a brief jolt but its almost as bad as a fighter jet.
Been a John Force fan forever, unbelievable he is still racing and winning

I love John Force, good ambassador for NHRA
I’ve talked to him on the phone, but never in person
73 and 59 years old. Nothing can slow these guys. 👍
Good for them.

Totally read that in Tom Servo’s voice, great comment.
Thanks for the laugh Madmax

So cool to see these seniors not slowing down one bit.
Well, one is a senior

Nothing can't beat a good ol'e Chevy.....💯💯💯
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
John Force runs 335. His mouth ran 395. Fastest mouth in racing. Love the GOAT
Thank goodness The NHRA Season is back. I am going to be glued to the TV this weekend.
For those old enough, this is like the old Mongoose and Snake competition waaaaay back in he day. If you know, you know!

Damn. These guys been racing since before I was born! And I’m 73!💪🏻🥴
💥 John was out at March Meets years back. Its a great race to see a buch of the older cars. 👍
Was hoping to hear a classic commentary by Mr.Force !
I don’t know a time that John force wasn’t just my fav drag racer…. But also racing period. I am 39.
GO FORCE !!
Love 2 See John win Something this Season ? Greetings from UK
❤ John force always enjoy watching him run
Been watching Force since the 80s. He is the greatest drag racer of all time
Heck yes
Go John GO
Best era was the Force W/Austin Coil days.
335 MPH. Amazing really.
When you can remember 240 Gordie.
Yeah, and he did it in 1000 ft and not 1320.
Still got the fire in the belly.
335 in 1000ft is just incredible!
May The Force Be With You
The only man that I know that can go Through Fire and lived to tell about it
That's really fast for a funny, good on you John.
🐐 of the nhra
That number 335 mph- is downright scary.
Remember John's commercial?
"I've been on fire from Australia to Alaska"
Force/acceleration=massive run
John the force is with you .
WOW
How do you watch this broadcast live? Love the guys commentating.
NHRA tv which is 149$ per year

Last time I seen John was in early 90's.
Anyone remember Cayuga dragway?Ont. Can.
Castrol gtx paint scheme
You're back! Are you gonna cover Top Alcohol so we can watch Tony Stewart??
Yes I am covering TAD and Tony Stewart and the rest of the alcohol racing this year
@@NitroAlley frikin awesome
wow go force🤜🤛
I’m a NHRA FAN... Motor head.
Doesn’t seam like that long ago John broke the 300 mph mark.
Who says old guys are slow? Well done John Force!!!!!!!!!
John Force is AMAZING!!!!!!!
He's definitely a Force of nature
Start my demo tomorrow
John Force "Still the man"!
Uncle John rips a new one!!
Force blasting down the strip is as common for him as you and I walking into the kitchen.
It would scared the hell out of me touching the wall with 300+ miles an hour............
Cruz Pedregon: You were saying?
John Force talks 335 MPH…
Seen John at Sears pt North of San Francisco
I was thinking this was a clip from years ago. No idea John unretired.

Yes this 1000 ft for Nitro everyone else runs 1320ft
JF racing 💨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
HOW MUCH FASTER WILL THESE GUYS BE ON SANATOGEN 😂
My hope is that I’m still able to drive a car when I’m 73

He touched the wall.
Adria, Ashley, Brittany and Courtney Rock !!
Looks like Gary Bussey.... 🙂
Wow
Fastest accelerating 70 year old on the planet.
OMG, i held a so called car straight for a whole 1320 feet. How about you come Autocross with me and I ve been retired for 10 years

@@3-2-1-. Also Pikes Peak Hillclimb, other than the IOM the only other unlimited racing in the world and both run on public roads!
First there was Eddie hill and then John Force took over.
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
How long will it be before they change the rules to run 1/8 mile instead of 1000 feet ?
That will suck. I hate 1/8 mile races.
The BIG question. It's bound to happen eventually and for the same reason. What would they be doing in the quarter mile?
335mph per 1000ft is .335 per foot X 1350 = 452.25
I could realistically think 400+ anyhow. IDK how they'd keep the tires together
i hear an aussie accent from the crew chief of force.. go Australia
Haven't seen much drag racing in awhile, is that 1000ft or 1320ft? Cool to be inspired by hockey.
1000ft
smokin' hot runs these days!
Isnt that close to the fastest speed in a quarter though?
It's tough to beat the Force.
Bro, how did you get the footage off the tv?
All footage used is from NHRA.TV Paid Subscription
I Obviously do not own the footage if that’s what you meant though
@NITRO ALLEY oh ok that makes sense. Is NHRA tv worth it? I've heard mixed things

I wonder who Cruz/Tony is going to blame for that? You kno
See, now he screwed up and went too fast. They are going to shorten the track again.🤦♂
What about the DQ ?
He hit the wall past the finish line so the time was allowed to stand
Is John force ever going to retire?
@1320 feet speed would be close to 400MPH.
Yeah. 😳
huh john still runs? thought he was just the owner and crew chief, thought he retired from active comp
He is still going strong about to be 74 In may

🤨You don't need ears.
Thought force was retired?
Still going at 73 (74 may 4th)
I wish FS1's NHRA coverage wasn't such complete trash. I miss watching it.
Force drives a Chevy now? I thought he was a blue oval guy.
