Rob I just wanted to thank you for doing what you do. I became disabled with Wegener's disease in January of last year and it more or less put my life on hold. You've given me plenty of entertainment to distract me on the bad days, and your recovery from your own hardships has let me know it is possible to get out there and enjoy life despite my condition. Love you and the family and wish nothing but the best for all of you.

I completely agree with you about us moving into their territory. While it is definitely the main reason why there are more encounters with them, it doesn't change the fact that if a gator is being aggressive towards people, it needs to be removed from that area. It doesn't mean that we have to kill all gators near people, just that we need to move them somewhere where both us and the gators are safe, and I think this video does a great job of showing that. Just goes to show that hunters and fishermen are some of the biggest advocates for conservation out there.

I'd love to see you incorporate new ingredients, cooking methods, or maybe even using the parts you don't usually use like the bones in some of your recipes. Although u can't travel to every country u can experience a bit of their flavors through food.
For example for simple starters you could experiment with miso & soy sauce based marinades for Asian influenced recipes on the grill or use the bones/shells of fish & other seafood to make a soup or stock for other dishes. Just have fun with it :)

Many of us from the Northern states, especially from Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and Ohio who "back in the day" were known as "broke states" where lumberjacking and steel mills were all we had, the money was tight, so we sourced out the "cheaper cuts, aka, the "throw aways" that others didnt want. ie, among other cuts, Cows tongue was especially a huge staple in our house.
