Not sure if it is an option for your trap Robert but you could slice up the funnels leading into the trap so it expands when they try to get inside the trap, but not when they try to exit. This way you can get larger iguanas while not letting the smaller ones escape.

In Central America, we stew those in coconut milk, then rice and beans, breadkind on the side, very expensive plate, if you go to a restaurant, but they are because, it's not easy getting them unless you go into the bush and hunt them down, Florida, they don't eat them, soo, you got a lot running around in urban neighborhood, well prepared with the right seasoning ingredient, they taste very good!!

I bet I could come up with a solution that the state could fund. The meat could then be sold to restaurants or donated to homeless shelters and the skin used to make things. I wonder how hard it would be to get the plan past the FWC and the state congress. Rob jumping into that black Florida alligator water gets me everytime though.

instead of a funnel make a trapdoor style entrance like used on the Dungeons' crab traps. Use something heavy like cattle panel metal but with small holes and it should work great. Light enough then can lift it to go under yet heavy enough they cant bend it to get back out.

I have a friend of mine who has a lot of propertie down south and he uses everything from a 25-06 to a 22-25 to a 308 Winchester to a 300 Winchester Magnum and to me it's funny in Texas i use 6.5 Creed more and Grendel and 50bmg to blow up prairie dogs and now down south Florida we are blowing up iguanas

At first I thought "WHAT?" but then I realized I was introduced to turtle when I was a youngster by my grandparents. It was good and since then I snake, alligator and loved it. I would surely try it. I wonder who was causing a commotion getting all those neighbors interested in what was going on, hmmmmm? Bless you Robert, I enjoy what you do and also the fine memories you bring to me. This is one of the funniest videos I've seen. I had a thought about those traps though if you were to cut slits in the end of the funnel so that it can expand if the Iguana tries to push through it'll let the bigger ones through but won't be able to go back through

Rob you have try curried iguana but Trinidad style....we lightly roast it over an open fire and scrape the skin them cut up the meat, with the skin. Curry with coconut milk! I guarantee you its amazing!❤🇹🇹
