Dunno if it was a new thing after you did this review, but the Crye AVS indeed has an emergency doffing cable. At least, its Operator Manual says it does.
Tido Schmidt I have since been proved wrong we received AVS's not long after this comment and I wouldn't trade it for anything way more comfortable then the CPC. And has the same protection but has WAY MORE flexibility!
I'm a bigish guy( 5'11" 240lbs). I am looking at getting one of these but I can't decide which one. I currently have the LBT 6094 QRC V2. I hate the clips on it and am looking to switch. This will be for military use. What do yall recommend?
My god man you really dont understand donning and doffing the CPC. The velcro thing is meant to secure a side much like there's only one clip on the shoulder pads. You dont velcro both sides closed. It even says such in the instruction manual
you know it's nice gear when you repeat the word " its really really really nice," multiple times.
+Marco Gonzalez That forehead tho.
+coolcrap567 right! I blame my parents for that everyday.
i have a real crye combat shirt and pants. and well...... they are really really nice
@@2Pac7Amaru7shakur really really *really* nice mean

Really really really nice!
Is there any special way you had your sling attached to the one on the right in the beginning? Thanks!
This was very helpful as a prospective Crye buyer. You earned a like.
I agree the AVS is nice for its modularity. But for real combat applications I will stick to my CPC!
Army SF are wearing mostly avs and prefer it compared to CPC

How nice is it again?
If you guys, everyone, had to pick one, which one would you go with? I tend to believe the CPC is a more complete carriers. Thoughts

How much time had passed, from the time you ordered to the time it arrived?

Question can you put AR500 armor in the cpc???
Yup
Ar500 sucks don’t do it
Bob Anderson for the money AR500 is great just make sure you get the anti spalling coating
@@vcr4497 don't forget the trauma pads and something to catch the m193
DEUS VULT when I made this comment I was pretty uninformed on armor solutions ... now I wouldn’t recommend AR500 at all
is the AVS smaller than the CPC?
a little
Is this legit Crye Precision?
